Mora is such a showoff. :-(

"Ooh, look at me, I can stay in single digits with my stoppages after 33 bouts. :tong"

    28-3-2 (9)

Well, guess what? At the same time he was squeaking by Abie Han, a true master of the art of restraint by the name of Fernando Saucedo was racking up career decision #44 in the main event on TyC Sports.

    Saucedo is 54-6-3 (8 kayos, 2 DQs)

I almost wish I'd watched TyC instead of ESPN2. :!:

By the way, I made a note to finish this post earlier but got tied up with RBR duties and forgot about this open browser tab...

Atlas expounded on his philosophy on how to manage young talents from the prospect through contender stage:

He says they should be put in "90-10s" in 4-rounders at the beginning of their career. That is, match-ups where they are 90% likely to win and the opponent has only a 10% chance.

Then, 70-30 as they graduate to 6-rounders.

Then start really buckling down on defense, letting them get in with guys that can punch a tiny bit, overall 60-40 type affairs in 8-rounders.

Then fellow prospects or tough gatekeepers in true 50-50 toss-ups by their first 10-rounders, so that if & when they reach a championship opportunity, they've already "been in a real fight or two" and don't walk in unprepared with a padded 20-0+ record.

What can I say - Atlas is right sometimes. :conf

Atlas is very much the broken clock.
