    On why he doesn't want to fight Hopkins:

    "Because he is 50 and a legend and I don't want to fight him because it is almost a lose-lose situation. I am expected to beat him. If I win, people will say 'he beat a 50 year old man'. If I lose, people will say 'What's going on? You've ruined your legacy. You finished your career with a loss to an old man' - so that would be traumatic. I don't think for one minute I would lose against Hopkins. It would be a great fight and I would win in style."

    Froch goes on to also say:

    "He is coming off the back of a loss, but he is still a fighting force to be reckoned with and a dangerous opponent. But it is not a fight I get particularly excited about."

    So who in ur opinion isn't actually a ducker?

    In order to not be called a ducker you have to fight everyone, on their own terms and keep fighting the very very best until it affects your health?

    I've got no problem with Frochs statement, in fact, he is 100% correct on all counts? BHop is a shixt fight anyway.

    He wants to bash up Jnr in a swan song in Vegas and retire with his mandibles intact.... Good luck to him.

    If Froch fought Hopkins you would say he is cherry picking.. As for Degale he had his chance and lost to Groves who Froch beat twice. Froch fought Groves twice and was mandated to do so he deserves a fight where he can choose his opponent and would be fighting Chaves instead of Fonfara if it weren't for injury.

    He's right Hopkins is a bad fight, but Chavez isn't any better.

    Carl Froch has competitively retired, convincing his fans that Chavez Jr. is a good fight proves this.
