Joe Calzaghe is a man who ducked Chad Dawson so he could take a soft touch in shot Roy Jones, so the reality is Calzaghe wouldn't go anywhere near someone like Kovalev.

GGG would absolutely ruin Calzaghe, horrible style match up for Joe, he would get smashed to bits.

No, your wrong there, Dawson waited until after Calzaghe had fought Jones before calling him out. I can find no examples of Dawson calling out Calzaghe prior to the November 8th 2008 fight with Jones, nor any rumours of talks between the two camps prior to that date either.

So it was not a case of Jones over Dawson, but Dawson waiting to see who won so he could call out the winner and hopefully boost his image by beating them - Calzaghe, however, had been planning to retire after 2008 since before he fought Kessler.

not me, I've always thought lacy was rubbish. sorry to leave you wrong there.

this point is fail also - I am very fair to Joe, its you who is denying what he said when he says he doesnt want tough figths.

It is you who is calling Calzaghe a liar and I am reprimanding you for insulting him with lies.

Please stop lying about our British heroes.

I think Calzaghe can beat all of them but I see him having a lot of trouble with Stevenson and Kovalev.

    UD's Froch easily

Loses to Ward by wide, near shut out UD

Beats GGG by close UD due to size and speed advantage. Gets knocked down once but outboxes GGG

UD's Kovalev while getting knocked down in the process

    UD's Adonis easily

    TKO's Pascal

Koralev is a huge guy. Hopkins was grossly outsized in their fight and his punches appeared like light pushes..

Hopkins looked as tall. but in a beanpole kinda way, not the gaem of thrones killer type that pervades KO4clev.

Watch how GGG controls the distance and position with his lead hand without even throwing the jab off it and then uses his perfect balance and footwork to avoid whats coming back with very slight, but perfectly timed movements. This means he's always in range, in control of his man and the second there is an opening he has a full array of punches that he can deliver with deadly accuracy and power. Against this style, a high volume, leaky defenced fighter such as Calzaghe is like a lamb to the slaughter.

Yeh but hans, the reason hopkins survived against KOvalev was because he did exactly nothing. If calzaghe tried to bum sergey with his quick flurries in and out, He would get timed a few times and hurt. The KRUSHER has underated timing and skills.

Kovalev, Ward and Golovkin would beat him.
Especially Kovalev would bring him a lot of problems because of his power and very good feints. The guy is an animal.
The rest Slappy would beat, except if Froch or Adonis land a huge punch..
