Wlad vs Shavers

Wlad's ass would go down in this one.The hardest puncher of all time shatters that glass chin.

Wlad may box well for a few rounds but sooner or later Earnie would connect.Remember Shavers do not need to land flush to put Wlad on his back.

I think both could go down as neither had a very good chin. Wlad having the longer reach and also a lot of power would clearly have the tools necessary to beat Shavers and he would.

 

Shavers was dangerous, but limited. I'd see Wlad keeping him away and stopping him mid rounds.

 

you don't want to put wlad in the ring with anyone approaching shavers power, even shot2shyit retired one. lwads is out on a stretcher in seconds and needs a decade to rebuild his cred.

 

I think one of the tools necessary to beat shavers is a at least a fairly good chin. that's not wlad.

 

Shavers chin was no good. and nor was his boxing skills.

Not if you have the power and the reach to get to him before he gets to you. Shavers chin isn't any better than Wlad's and the power between the two isn't a whole lot different either, so it comes down to reach and boxing skills, and on both, Wlad is miles ahead of Shavers. Having power is one thing, converting it into a KO is another matter all together.

Hell I'm not even a huge Wlad fan, but I'm old enough to have watched a few of Shavers fights and absent his power we wouldn't even be talking about him.

 

Shavers although one of if not the most hardest puncher of all time has no chance against Wlad.

It's called boxing. Wlad is more skilled than Shavers, although it would be interesting seeing the Shavers that fought Holmes vs the Wlad trained under Steward. Any incarnation before Steward and Wlad gets KO'd.

 

Shavers has to plant his feet and wind up on his power which imo makes it very overatted guys like Wlad,Lewis and Tyson throw the punches from a variety of positions and imo if they did the same wind up, planted feet throwing style of Shavers would hit at least as hard. So Wlad around TKO 5.

I think Wlad stops Shavers. Shavers may hit hard but he does not have the movement or size to get around Wlad's jab and grab. Wlad wears him down and KOs him.

Lot a delusion about Shaver. Very poor chin, zero skill, small, excellent power, but not the hardest puncher of all time.

A guy who was rolled by Quary and Lyle, and could not beat a semi-zombified version of Ali has not chance what-so-ever against Wlad.
