Haymon also got Quillin to vacate his title instead of accepting the purse bid from Roc Nation. It's the fighters that have fans. No one here is a fan of a promoter/manager (although, pact*ards do seem to be fans of Arum.)

My point is that, if fans quit refusing to support fighters after these duck moves, problems that Arum and Haymon create will be taken care of by the fighters, by their refusal to seek their representation.

I agree, fighters like Trinidad demanded fights and got them... fighters like even DLH who is underrated in my opinion, demanded fight and got them....

Fighters like even Canelo, you have to give the kid credit, he wants to fight the best and demands it.

I am sure there are others too...

I know Arum is full of ****.. But he has a track record of making big fights happen. Even with Oscar leaving Arum, Gbp and top rank made many big, big fights..
Floyd wanted to be in full control to make this fight, it seems Pac, Bob and that side finally fully conceded.. They seem to be waiting on the green light..

I have no inside scoop or no how.. But from everything out there, it seems clear where the dime drops..

I think the fight still gets made, but **** it I'm optimistic. I thought it was happening 6 years ago...

promoters Never had a problem matching their fighters against other stables like it's been with Haymon and MAYWEATHER.. My take, they're ruining the middle divisions.. I hope they die off like a cancer, cause the last thing I want is a ufc style circus.. where guys only fight others in the same stable, yet claim to be the best..

The fighters know the fights the fans want to see and know about how Haymon and Arum avoid making these fights.

So, they are making the decision to duck when they sign with them.

Besides, I have a hard time believing that a fighter can't demand the fights even if Haymon/Arum thinks that it is ill advised.

The fighters need to be held personally accountable for ducking.

Haymon let Rico Ramos fight, Rigondeaux, Russell Jr. fight Lomachenko, and Jacobs fight Pirog. Arum is a bit more protective though. Pac was kept away from, Raheem, Campbell, and Guzman. Donaire was kept away from the 5 best 118 pounders besides himself. If Arum had of thought beforehand that either Rigondeaux or Walters was capable of beating Donaires ****, he would have kept Donaire away from them.
