Probably the fastest double-jab, lb4lb, you'll ever see thrown:

Eubank has a 70% success rate in that fight.. At one point he throws an 18 punch combination of textbook shots at lightning speed.. Amazing ability..

Eubank against Wharton was as impressive as anything I ever saw from Jones, Toney or Nunn!

So, you believe Eubank would have done to Wharton in a second bout what Jones did to Montell Griffin ?

It was a very entertaining bout, but you can clearly see Eubank struggling with the pace and getting punched hard regularly.

Wharton fought the fight of his life and Chris stayed in range throwing everything, Griffin didn't have a fraction of the chin of Wharton !!

Eubank liked to vaunt his boxing skills, when in truth he won most of his high profile fights with his chin, power and physical strenght.

Guys like Jones, Toney, Hopkins had much more polished skills, although they didn't engage in give-and-take wars like Chris did. ( Toney marginally did, but he had better defense and skills than Chris)

The Watson rematch was won with the most perfect right uppercut, perfect arc to that shot.. The Benn victory was won mostly with his awesome foot movement & awesome counter skills.. Rocchigiani fight, Watson 1 & Malinga he hardly gets touched by these tight straightshooters with his slipping ability while in range.. Against the lesser fighters he mostly posed/coasted and was rarely hit twice in a row the way he turned that shoulder in and pulled away.. Try watching the fights some day..? Granted he showed great chin & heart by taking a few Benn bombs but Benn would've hit ANYONE who didn't cover up, so fast was Benns delivery of single power shots (like nothing I've ever seen in all honesty)..

Most of Whartons famed left hooks were blocked by Eubanks right glove, and Henry had a very low % success rate at the end?

Chris was wailing his arms in that 11 th rd of the Watson fight like a drunken sailor in a bar fight. Watson gave Chris all he could handle, and showed greater skills. His chin betrayed him.

The Benn victory was solid, but Benn was still green. He arguably nicked it in the rematch.

Good boxers enjoy their prime between 25-30 years of age. Chris was done at 28.
    Nuff said.

In terms of technical boxing skill, jabbing and flashy combinations. Although Griffin was a bit of a midget and came into the ring as cold as snow due to the Jones camp not giving him time to warm-up. Jones had better power than Eubank, admittedly. It was a very hearty, gritty, unskilled leaping shot from Jones that was laced with natural power.

Nonsense. Jones couldn't tie Eubank's laces in terms of polish! He threw his shots with his feet off the ground! Eubank twitched his ankles into six-inch punches. He had much shorter shots than Hopkins, too. And his lateral movement was streets ahead of the flat-footed Toney.

After fighting at that pace, which was almost like a featherweight-type pace between two heavily muscled light-heavyweights, it's no wonder Eubank was completely exhausted and flailing away. He had hit Watson with everything, all perfect shots, for the first 6-7 rounds, and Watson took it all and kept coming!

I wouldn't say Eubank was done at 28, he looked technically as polished as ever against Thompson at 31-32. His problem was losing a stone in two days 5-6x a year, like an idiot! And having knee problems (mostly genetic). He beat Collins clearly in Millstreet, terrible refereeing decisions on all the knockdowns (and knockdowns that weren't counted) and still-questionable judging.
