    the thing is that i have always held the opinion that Floyd is the most influential here. If Floyd really wants this fight badly, as he makes it look like, he would actually just give Manny and team fair demands. He shouldn't care about broadcasts, 60/40 or 50/50 etc... Does Floyd need 120 million instead of 100 million? NO.

    so when the most influential member of negotiations is making demands and throwing Arum under the bus, it really doesn't make it sound like he really wants the fight.

    If Floyd today calls Stephen Espinoza and tells him 'do whatever it takes, i don't care' and if he tells Manny 'whatever you want, 50/50, fine' fight would be made by now.

    If he really wants this fight, he would just do whatever it takes to make it happen quickly, and even concede himself to demands on other side. Floyd has made so many millions that 50/50 vs 60/40 for him makes little difference. So when he starts b$tching about broadcast issues, purse spit, Arum etc... he is just proving to everyone that he doesn't want it as badly as he makes it sound.

    This whole post is a waste of time and irrelevant.. Arum already said everything was agreed to.. All of Floyd's "ludicrous demands" were agreed to.. So what else can Floyd do to stop the fight if they already agreed to the split? You can't cry about something you agreed to already...

    according to espinoza, neither the networks nor Manny/Floyd have agreed to all terms. Of course, who knows who's telling the truth.

    HBO states they stand ready to go and Arum has stated they have agreed to all terms.

    Floyd and Showtime haven't been stating the same. Showtime keeps saying there are significant issues to be resolved by networks and by fighters. So if HBO and Arum claim they are ready but the other side claims not so fast, what does this tell you? Pretty much that Showtime and Floyd (Al Haymon on his behalf) are not ready. I think since they consider themselves the 'A' side, they are trying to milk all they can here...

    So all these *****s going on about how Arum is sabotaging the fight by speaking about the negotiations in public. Meanwhile Floyd posts a private recorded video in Pac's hotel room. lol.

    And how convenient of the hours he's there he edits and puts out the 15sec clip, why not post the whole vid Floyd? Someone is trying really hard to convince the public he's not ducking.

    Even joyboys know floyd released the video to save face. He would fight a recycled cotto fight. That's plan A all along. Pacquiao trapped the rat but the rat still managed to escape.

    Pac outright said he agreed to Floyds 60/40 demand, Floyds blood testing demand, floyds billing "mayweather-Pacquiao" demand, ring entry etc. And Floyd hasn't denied a single one of them, and we know Floyd wouldn't miss a beat, look at how far he went to try prove a point. You can't just go outright on national TV and say "I agree to 60/40" and then in negotiations demand 50/50, lol, all Floyd has to do is record that and boom, public is on his side, but he can't cos he's backed into a corner.

    i don't think people realize how much this is impacting boxing. It's one of the reasons UFC has apparently gained a lot of ground on boxing. Boxing has become all about the business and little about what the fans want. Granted, a business is a business and networks and promoters will be business people but signing fighters to exclusive contracts with networks and with promoters just makes it more difficult to bring good fights to the table.

    Back in the day, we got Ali vs frazier, Ali vs Foreman, Hearns vs Leonard, Hagler vs Leonard and Hagler vs hearns, not to mention duran and many other fights without all the BULLSH%T of today. Pacqiao and Mayweather were absolute GREATS AT THEIR PEAKS back in 09-10 and we never got that fight... it's a travesty and shame on all the business people who simply don't give a F about the fans, it's all about egos and business.

    Well how did this equal Floyd trying to make stupid demands to duck the fight? Obviously Arum is lying about everything being finished because if Floyd got what he wanted, there's no point of the video (which I didn't see and don't care about).. If everything was good like Arum and HBO said, why would the other side need to lie about it not?

    Yup, and I feel making the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight is the last "hoorah", and if they can't, then the casual fan-base will be turned off for good.

    For me, the posted video means 2 things. Either;

    1) He's hyping the fight
    2) He's preparing the "I did everything I could!" excuse

    Imagine the nfl with no super bowl, nba with no finals, soccer with no world cup.. all sports without the Olympics.. IT becomes a wwe circus act. Guys play fighting pretending to be the best, but really nothing more than entertainment..
