    Welterweight has a clear hierarchy:

    #1-#2 Manny/Floyd
    #3 Bradley
    #4 JMM
    *MASSIVE GAP*
    #5 Brook (beat Porter)
    #6 Porter (beat Alexander/Malignaggi)
    #7 Khan (beat Alexander)
    #8 Alexander (beat Maidana)
    #9 Maidana (beat Broner)
    #10 Guerrero (beat Berto)

Khan has beaten exactly ONE ranked opponent. It's cringeworthy how he thinks he should be able to jump the line for getting one barely-significant win over a barely-ranked opponent just because Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana, Algieri, and Rios did it.

It seriously annoys me how Floyd and Manny (mostly Floyd) keep feeding off the bottom of their divisions. "Oh look, this nobody beat a guy, let's fight him quick before he loses again!"

    P.S.

Algieri actually had more success against Pacquiao than Khan would. You may quote me after Manny KO's that bambi-legged glass-jawed entitled-ass mofo.

Best fight for him is Brook if not then Bradley, him and timmy have a good story line.

Exactly the same two things bother me as well. Mayweather and Pacquiao should be planning contingency plans with Brook and Porter. Kahn should be fighting Brook, Porter or Bradley to go up in ranking and deserve the title shot.

Khan vs Marquez. I would pay good money to watch that.

Although, im not overly keen to see Marquez get charged with manslaughter...

i'm not a great lover of amir khan meself, but boxing fans moan when people are ducking and don't take fights and when someone calls out credible opponents they slate him... double standards lol

Lol, yes, Mayweather and Pacquiao are credible opponents for Kahn, but Kahn is not a credible opponent for them. The obvious issue here is that it's an undeserved money grab. He doesn't really care about winning and all signs point to that he wouldn't.

There are plenty of credible opponents for Kahn to fight including revenge against Danny Garcia, Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, Timothy Bradley, etc. If he could get past at least 1 of them, then I'd be interested in him fighting May or Pac.

All khan has to do is take on any champ at 147 outside Floyd/Pac.
