Would Terry Norris be an all time great if he had an iron chin? and would he survive julian jackson?

Terry was a badass mf. He preferred to trade but could box flawlessly like in the simon brown rematch.

He was undoubtedly talented but I'm not sure if he had the temperament to be an ATG. He was disqualified 3 times and was always a bit reckless and trading when he shouldn't have.

If he had an iron chin he may have been a different fighter, less the boxer more the brawler. With these hypothetical scenarios you never know what else will change once one attribute or result as been altered.

If he boxed more as opposed to brawling his career could have gone on a little, longer

He would still have some DQ losses due to just being a knucklehead in the ring.

It kind of depends on if Norris moved up to MW, which was extremely talented during Norris's prime.

Sometimes fighters can be ATGs staying in one division, but it's more rare in more modern times, especially looking at the 154 lb. division in the 90s. Norris was kind of small for 154 so he would have been very small for 160, but that's where a lot of talent was and there was a lot of talk at the time of people wanting to see Norris fight the top fighters at 160.

Just look at this talent pool in the early 90s. It's kind of sad how few matchups took place with this sort of talent. This was no late 70s/early 90s LHW division.

Very talented, athletically gifted, but his temperament was his strength and his weakness. He's a popular and top 154lber no doubt, but he falls short vs the real elite like Jackson and Hearns were at that weight as atgs. One of the best offenses and could box very well when he wanted. I don't like his chances vs punchers like Tito, Vargas, or even a young Rj, tho.
