Doubt it happens, this is Kessler's retirement fight after all... can't see him wanting a bad stylistic matchup for his last fight, nevermind a guy who beat him soundly already. On the flip side, who actually makes up the short list of Ward opponents for which the HBO fee would be 3M+? Kessler Froch ...who else? Groves? Degale & the Dirrells are otherwise tied up or unavailable as far as I know... and that sums up the SMW division. I still think we'll end up with a tune-up along the lines of Ward-Edwards where Andre takes ~2M and Derek gets ~350K. No way is HBO giving ~1M to an E-Rod type of opponent again, they learned their lesson.
Good comeback fight, Ward should win very easily. I've always been of the opinion that Ward didn't HAVE to cheat to beat Kessler, he just thought he had to cheat.
Wrong fights for Kessler as a farewell fight. Froch vs Ward 2 in the UK would be better Kessler should try to fight Stieglitz or Abraham
