A lot of people had older Mosley beating Cotto.

    He's good.

He's a name, so he gets overrated a lot. He beat a over-the-hill Martinez and people think he's elite, but he isn't.

The Martinez fight doesn't erase the memories of the Trout fight, where he got schooled badly. At 154, I can see Canelo, Trout, Andrade, Charlo and Lara beating him. He has a good chance beating Canelo, but the boxers would give him hell like Trout did.

I was ****ed when Cotto beat Shane :yep

I was rooting for Shane hard that night , I wanted Shane to win so he can fight Floyd next .

I felt his experience and speed would be good enough to take out Floyd .

I also felt he matched up better against Floyd than Cotto did .

At the end of the night , I even had to admit to myself Cotto was the better man and clear winner against Mosley that night and It took me a while to admit that because I was a Mosley fan way before I was a Miguel fan...

Is just good but maybe at 160. 147 could be considered very good but maybe a bit past being very good at this point of his career.

I'd say very good, borderlining good. At 154 he was at a disadvantage against most of those guys due to their size so not much shame in losing those matches. He beat Martinez (shot or not) better than other middleweights have so he's definitely got skills. He's definitely not elite but there's only a couple of elite fighters in the game.

Beating Martinez means nothing Cotto is levels under Mayweather.

Martinez was shot to hell and crippled but still an impressive performance by Cotto. Easy to look good against a cripple though.

That was not impressive Floyd's win over Canelo is much more impressive.
