i'll agree, JSK said chino hits much harder than Thurman. no possible way for us to know, we can only go off what fighters that have that specific experience to listen to.

just a quick fyi: stopping opponents is not the only indicator of ones power. that's actually not even a good indicator as to who hits harder.

most of the time, when fighting competent opponents its the skill + power that gets the stoppages. and fighting at the top level, most fighters would rather lose a dec then get stopped. makes no sense to me but that's human nature.

way too much is put on stopping opponents or ko% when some try to determine ones power. really really bad way to try to judge ones power. way too many factors are involved.

fatigued fighters are tenfold easier to stop than more fresh fighters. and if both are fatigued, well it goes without saying. a fighter could go all 12 rounds with a much much more devastating puncher and turn around and be tko'd in the very first round against a far inferior puncher.

it all depends what kinds of clean shots are landed, how well were they prepared and were they caught by smg they didn't see

I think, without looking back at his career, from my memory I think JSK and Chaves are easily thurmans best opposition.

that bundy brit I don't rate really at the world level. possibly he was a style wise problem but he looked like someone who wasn't risking getting ko'd after the 1st round KD.

I would pick chino to trash him and even JSK to beat him. but that's just me

Timothy Bradley didn't mind mixing it up and going to war w/ Ruslan.

Interesting because Bradley said Pacquiao and Marquez's power felt the same to him. He scored 8/10.

But that's hard. You pretty much named them all. Maidana, Thurman for sure. Though, I do think a Pacquiao straight left still remains one of the most dangerous punches in the welterweight division.

yeah, with a cut eye. never been put down in his career, except by brook, twice, in a fight that didn't go 4 rounds.
