The only fight that is being advertised and building momentum in popularity at this late stage to make a fight is Floyd Pac. For it to fall through now would be devastating in many ways...I actually can't see it falling through anymore.

Showtime has got him cornered. There's a good chance he'll just retire instead of fighting the PacMonster.

For all we know they could be discussing how much Floyd has to pay Showtime to get out of his contract.

Yvon Michel said he doesn't think the fight will be made. The guy promotes fighters who both with HBO and Showtime...

    I hope he is wrong.

Floyd is more proud of ducking Pac than he is of his 0. It's his big F U to boxing fans, the public, the media, promoters, and managers who've handled him all his life. I think it's how he's chosen to state his independence, and how he is in control. He decides and not anybody else. I don't think he'll ever fight Pacquiao for any amount of money. Some fighters are proud that they faced everybody. Floyd is proud that nobody could MAKE him fight Pacquiao.

When you really think about it, Floyd is the only who could be the hold up. Since, he is the one in position (with the power) to ask for more than 50%...or, if he wants the fight that bad, he could say ok to 50% Pac is probably asking for. Everyone's else percentages are much easier to figure out.

Yep. Floyd would rather win the negotiation than the fight. That's where he shows his real competitive spirit.
