    can he get back there? the venom is looking tough to shift!

    joking aside i actually think groves is being overrated. had the froch from the 2nd fight turned up for the 1st, we'd be saying groves ain't world level.

    The venom may be strong in this one

    I think Groves is now being underrated if anything, written off after his recent poor-ish form against Rebrasse and Douglin

    but the 1st froch fight is the main reason why he gets rated. people say he should've replicated that performance in the 2nd, ignoring (or failing to recognize) that he tried, but a much sharper froch didn't let him. now imagine there were only the 1 fight, ko8 while behind on the cards. what would you think?

    Was he behind on the cards?

    I think the general attitude would have been that he gave a decent account of himself for 7.5 rounds but the fight came too soon for him.

    in the 2nd fight, yes. fair assessment, but i reckon that's probably his level. of course, only time will tell.
