You would rank him higher than SRR ability wise?

Floyd has announced May opponents in late-February from what I understand.

Imo he will be definitely be fighting on May 2nd, even if it's not Pacquiao. He has some obsession with the date, whether it's an ego thing or a financial thing with MGM or something, but it seems accepted he will fight in May.

the earlier part of his career he displayed incredible offensive ability, he lost the power moving up in weight but even now as a defensive fighter he knows when to switch to offense

yeh pretty sure he announced the ortiz fight fairly late because he was in talks with pacs camp to get the fight made and after stadium and cut excuses just to name a small ammount he left the table and booked ortiz

edit : just checked and he fought ortiz in june ? who did he fight instead after pac talks fell through because of his looming jail date?

some cant see it but, Floyd has atg level offensive ability. if you cant see that I don't know what to tell you,.

what does killer instinct have to do with anything ? seriously, Floyd is ALWAYS fighting fighters WAY WAY WAY bigger than him. who are all these fighter (And lets consider the fact that Floyd often fights fighters who he has considerable and exploitable size advantages over, and still gets caught)

I have NO idea who all these fighters floyds fought that he has any considerable size advantage over.. oh ok, you're just talking bs out of your a$$. we get it.

floyds offensive is so great, especially when he was fighting fighters his own size, he was crushing them. he has the best of the most important aspects. great offense, great at pivoting from offense to defense and defense to offense. he does this like NO other

    from this statement of yours,

zero combinations, zero finishing skills, no killer instinct, so so power

its obvious you started following Floyd and most likely boxing once Floyd was already at WW. if you followed the first decade of his career there is NO way you could say such nonsense with a straight face

This, people seem to think power = skill or makes you a greater fighter.

As much as I like Floyd its a insult to even put him or any other fighter anywhere near the greatest fighter to ever lived SRR.

SRR had everything you need in boxing his skills were out of this world, i remember once Joe Louis was amazed when he watched him live and said this guy is the greatest ever he also said what impressed him was the fact he could knock out legit contenders stepping back.

umm, that is the very definition of a great offense. you think one punch ko's equals great offense ? that means you have great power for the weight class and obviously have 1 punch ko'd fighters that aren't in the top fighters category.

top fighters RARELY get ko'd by one punch. very unusual and says just as much about the victim as it does about the victor

not sure about the reach thing, but that is one of his greatest assets, Floyd has fought about 75% of his matches against much larger men.

and who are all these fighters coming up in weight ? I know of 1 over the last decade, you're just a delusional hater that just spews nonsense with zero facts to base your pathetic argument with

well, over the last decade NON of the true top WW's have been career WW's. so what are you going on about ? and Floyd himself is NOT a career WW
