Flanagan vs Ormond & Rose vs Jones

I'm backing both of the favourites for no other reason that they are just a level above at this time, would be very surprised if either was to lose.

 

Wacked a 10er on Jones. I think Rose doesn't punch hard enough and Jones will walk through him. He struggled v Alcine and went life and death with Maciel. Jones has came back out of the retirement and if he is anything like the first Brook fight he'll get the stoppage. End of the day I like Rose but I just think he's a Euro level fighter.

i would expect Flanagan and rose to win, both dont carry much of a dig so expect them to win on the cards

 

and why would that not be a good call, Flanagan is top drawer and should beat Stepthen handily and Brian will outwork Carson the full fight possibly even stopping him.
I've been in against Stephen in his only loss and had Terry in my gym many times so I think I'm in a better position than you to make a judgement call don't you?

ormond was robbed that nite billy and u know it... and besides that stephen is a much improved fiter since then... ormond barring another robbery should win on sat... and a stoppage victory wouldnt surprise me:good

 

to be fair Stephen hit a lot of arms and gloves that night and I thought Paul's won a very tight one, although I agree he's improved a lot but Terry has been the most improved fighter that's ever been in my gym, I think he will be massive in terms of size compared with Stephen on the night, also it can't see how you think Stephen could win by stoppage he's not a very big puncher, workrate very good though

 

Neutral view from a German:

I think, Ormond will win inside the distance. Flanagan looks wide open, when he is throwing his long combinations. And he is standing straight up without much head movement.

Flanagans only chance is a good chin. If he can take Ormonds punch, he is able to outwork him.

 

maybe that's why most boxers in Germany don't come from Germany lol

 

i agree with hamburg... flanagan is wide open to a counter right.. the punch that will catch him all night long... and hopefully stop him:good

 

well I wish both lads luck just giving my opinion

 

Rose has no chance of becoming a World Champion.
