    Okay, I'll bite.

I think Floyd is up there with the greats.

I think he is smarter about "how to get the win" than nearly every boxer I have seen and I've been a fan for over 50 years- so have seen most of the greats from the late 60s onward.

I also boxed- though that doesn't really embellish my opinion here.

Further, I think Floyd has a deeper reservoir than people think about. For example, I believe he has more power, but why use it with a history of hand issues? If he can win the fight by simply outscoring opponents, he seems fine with that and it sure is valid.

He has a great deal to draw from and I've never heard that he hasn't worked hard to get where he is.

    Now-

Having said all that, he is not my favorite fighter. Not at all. Not by a mile. I would rather watch most other top P4P fighters because I enjoy more exciting fights and matchups.

That fact doesn't diminish the respect I have for him.

Maybe we'll see him in an exciting fight if the Pacquiao fight does occur.

That may be a BIG IF.... but I hope so.

I agree.. The fight wasn't as close as people made it out to be.. That doesn't change the fact that those people claimed he lost and was "scared" to rematch him.. The poll thing was stupid but if he had fought Khan, he would be cherry picking a feather fisted, glass chin, knocked out by Danny Garcia, chump.. You think people would ever be satisfied with whoever Floyd chose?

Everyone says that all the champs or top fighters around Floyd's weight is cherry picks.. The last few lineal champs he win was cherry picks.. Remember when Mosley beat the boogy man Margarito and stormed the ring after the Floyd v Marquez fight? Was anyone saying he shouldn't fight Mosley? Did anyone say Cotto was shot and couldn't compete with Floyd after that? When Canelo refused to fight on Floyd's undercard because Floyd wouldn't promise him a fight, no one was claiming Floyd was scared? I can't believe how terrible everyone but Pac and GGG is at boxing...

Name 1 he ducked, and there is a reason to dispute your statement. Margarito- was offered the same money to fight for the lineal title. Pacquiao- give me a break. Next opponent he ducked???

malinaggi just so pac can slap the **** out of him. i actually think rigo would be a great sparring partner, highly skilled and a great counter puncher. he should spar w marquez lol. honestly i don't think there is anyone who can mimic mayweather. pac needs to find a smaller quicker defensive minded boxer he can chase around the ring and spar. charlie zelenoff?

“Then when they met later at the hotel room, Manny called me first to tell me that Mayweather asked to come over to the hotel. Then I said ‘by all means, let him come over and see what he has to say.’” - Arum

The thing with Rigo is that he's a southpaw and as defensive minded as he is he doesn't use the shoulder roll that much, at least not the way Mayweather does it.
Would be a good way for him to know how to fight against a skilled defensive counterpuncher. Still, it would be preferrable it was someone who is an orthodox me thinks.

Furthermore, if people thought Castillo won, and Floyd was "forced" to fight him again, how did he carefully choose him? Cherry picking at its finest huh?

Also, I don't know when you started watching Floyd but as long as I can remember, he almost never out punch his opponents.. He usually throw way way less while landing more.. So another part of your post is wrong...

Pacquiao: "ummm, Bob, can I, uhhhh, have intimate time with my wife?"

Arum: "Sure, Manny, but I get 45%"
