Your dumb, Oscar gave prime Genaro his first L and did it 2 rounds faster than Floyd did. And Oscar was not prime yet. I actually thought Oscar took it easy on Genaro in that fight, didn't start fast, was very cautious fighting guy with only 16kos.

Precisely. It was an easy fight for Oscar, his D that night was sensational also and really held up offensively wise only opening up here and there. He could've blown Genaro out in a couple rounds but really started slow and seemed to have too much respect for him actually.

:lol::lol: Maybe his D, but that is IT. He's a decent counter puncher but doesn't throw great combo's, mostly one punch at a time, then RUN!

I can't tell PBF will forever own Oscar's golden ass between the ropes May 5th 2007 will forever be known as Cinco De Mayweather.:hi: Oscar's own magazine The Ring ranked PBF the 12th best fighter since WW2 Oscar wasn't even ranked:deal Oscar was never considered the greatest fighter of any era. Oscar is a top 75 ATG where as PBF top 25 ATG and still active. PBF> Oscar period end of discussion.

Oscar was much bigger than Hernandez not only that he fought him at 135 a weight that wasn't his best and had never fought at before. He was a SFW not a LW. PBF beat Hernandez at 130 a weight that he dominated and owned for years.

He had REALLY good stats in Fight Night Round 2, but he was removed from Fight Night Round 3. That's all I have to say about it.

It just shows how warped that is. Floyd's own best victory was basically an oscar warm up fight! LOL Hasn't fought any prime, great fighters since Castillo or Corrales, barely made it past a washed up Oscar -- you know Floyd paid off the magazine to get ranked anywhere in top 100.

No it's not. Seriously. I'll give you two examples: Round 9, Philly shell. Round 4, body jab from a distance.

Both were used throughout the fight, but I'm trying to pin point a specific time in the fight so you can see for yourself.

WRONG. Genaro was bigger than oscar in that fight! Yea he moved up but actually was the bigger man in that ring. Genaro had campaigned for that fight with oscar for years before that and gave up his title to move up one class to fight him. Genaro was actually taller than Oscar!

look, i respect Floyd's talents and even though i prefer Pacqiao (as a person and fighting style) i do appreciate Floyd's skills but i do think Floyd has a certain style that can be troubled by specific fighters that he hasn't faced much.

a feather fisted, technical and fast fighter who throws a lot has a much better shot than a heavy fisted good fighter. Great fighters like Hatton, Canelo, Cotto, Chavez, Barrera etc... simply don't have the goods to beat Floyd. Reality is Floyd is damn complete - fast, elusive, very smart, has good instincts, can throw any punch and combination, is supremely athletic and has a strong chin too (evidenced by how he took Mosely's punches like nothing). So, what type of fighter has the best chances? Someone who is as fast as Floyd, moves very well, throws a lot of punches. Khan comes to mind as having best shot of anyone although i think he should prove himself more. Khan has a glass chin but Floyd is feather fisted himself so who cares. Khan is similar to Floyd in that he knows how to win rounds, his speed and technical abilities can produce points, points which would keep up with Floyd's score. If Floyd doesn't KO him, would be interesting.

Pacquiao is another guy that has a shot due to his movement, aggression and speed. You bring up Marquez but he's a counterpuncher, how the h is a counterpuncher gonna beat the best counterpuncher on the planet? difficult... Fighters i would've loved to have seen vs floyd are fighters like Vernon Forest (technical master with speed), Pernel Whitaker, felix trinidad and a young De La Hoya and Mosely. De La Hoya was past his prime and lost by SD, mind you. The others would've been tricky for Floyd. These are very different fighters than 99% of the fighters Floyd has faced, Castillo was more similar to them.

Log off! Oscar fought as high as 160 yet Hernandez was the bigger man???:rofl Who do you think you're talking to? Someone who doesn't know the sport? Hernandez wasn't the bigger man. He was the champ at 130 and Oscar dragged him up to 135 because Oscar couldn't make 130 anymore. Oscar was draining his ass off at 130 that's one of the reasons why he got knocked down so much while he was at those lower weights. Genaro only moved up to chase the dollars. Everyone back then at those weights wanted Oscar because he brought money, Hernandez wasn't the only one.:deal

Oscar no doubt outweighed Hernandez in the ring that night. Oscar was the bigger man that can't be argued.

Exactly the reason he was knocked down at that weight. But had to stay long enough there to win a title.
