I m not professing to know what the ancients such as rome and egypt thought of the world, but its quite likely they didn't distinguish between black and white the way we do, particularly since the whites were living in caves at the time and probably didn't register as civilisations to them.


we aren't to know either if they divided the world up into Africa and Europe in the way some of you guys were doing.

you cant force these recent classifications onto the past, particularly since they may not have existed as classifictions back then.

The Ancient Egyptians weren't black they considered Nubians black and they themselves depicted themselves as being different. Just because they gave themselves darker skin doesn't mean they saw themselves as black.

In there you can see the pic of what they labeled as the 4 races of the world.

 

The Romans and Greeks described the Eygptians as looking like Colchians, Scythians, and North Indians. In a lot of Egyptian art you will also notice the women usually being paler and the men dark tanned they also distinguished between themselves as men were always out in the hot sun while women stayed inside so they were paler.

 

This forum is crawling with Klitschko nut-huggers, whereas I have never seen a Chris Byrd fan here. So the fact that Vitali has only got 56% of the votes makes it clear that neutral fans think Chris Byrd has the better resume.

A lot can be deduced from the fact that Vitali nut-huggers never tell you what his best wins are; they know that you will laugh at them and realize what an over-hyped duck the guy really was.:deal
