Still struggling with the difference between objectivity, and subjectivity I see.

I really don't care much what you THINK, or what you read by someone with their own agenda.

Back to back KO's, by men OLDER than him. FACT.

I think you will find Joe didn't have any interest in L / Heavy boxing per se. It was a fight with Hopkins he wanted, after all the mouth and bull**** in 2002 from Borenard, only for him to fight Daniels instead.

The fact that your hero wanted a crack at Joe was an added bonus for his retirement fund.

I was scratching my head for about 30 seconds trying to work out what the hell you meant there. It totally slipped my mind what I'd said a few pages back. lol

The only thing I struggle with is trying to get my two boys to sleep so I can have *** with my wife. Your pointless little posts barely even make me think, in fact I have schooled you half asleep multiple times.

Well, this is a boxing forum, and facts don't always tell the whole story. Are you saying the Jones that got in the ring with G.Johnson was the same Roy that got in the ring with Tarver in the second fight? This place would be pretty boring if we were only allowed to talk about fight results, and not circumstances of the fighters...

So what, age isn't everything.. Some fighters are shot at 30, some can compete at the elite level into their 40's... I understand that it is a stretch getting a simple minded fool like yourself to comprehend that every human is different.

I don't believe this lie for a second, I have read quotes from Joe himself talking about the need to move up to LHW years before he did.

That's fine with me, as I have always supported Joe giving Roy a shot while there were much more deserving and dangerous fighters. Roy was just happy to be back on the big stage, and Joe was happy to retire facing a shot legend.

This, I rate Hopkins over Calzaghe career wise but I do give the edge to Calzaghe H2H.

It's funny when Calzaghe while past prime gets knocked down by older fighters he gets stick BUT when Jones past prime gets KTFO by older fighters it's ok......

Johnson and Jones were born a couple weeks apart... Tarver was born a month and a half prior..

I hope you know you are agreeing with an idiotic poster with mental issues.

Not that age actually matters as everyone is different.. But Foxy, is being ridiculous with his "OLDER" argument.

Yea the argument is ridiculous but so is the argument of Joe got knocked down by an old Roy they were what 3 years age difference, both were faded, and Joe wasn't seriously hurt. You can tell by the rest of the fight it was a lucky punch/forearm and just caught Joe off guard but Jones fanboys will say this proves Jones will destroy a prime Calzaghe c'mon Calzaghe wasn't prime when they fought. Did he have some of his best wins late ? Yes he did but he still wasn't prime but not shot he just wasted his prime just like Toney who was very talented and wasted his prime. Hell Jones could of fought better comp too but he didn't he was content they all were. Jones, Calzaghe, and Toney were all very talented BUT they all could of done a lot more. You can sit and nitpick all of their records and people on this site definitely will.

He should do quite well as an actor because he seems to have done a good job imitating a boxer all these years. He even managed to get some very naïve fans to think he was for real :hi:
