Floyds in a no win situation, he either takes this fight and ultimately get ko'd by pac or he doesnt make the fight and risk this tarnishing his legacy forever.

Tough choice. If i was him id just make the fight even though he will get destroyed, at least he'd get some respect for having the courage to fight pac.

By all accounts today #MayweatherPacquiao deal is inching closer and closer but it's not done til it's done -- if it gets done.

    Very encouraging news.

Before this season, Marc is my 3rd pick (behind LB and KD). As much as I want Gasol, I dont think he's the MVP. Gasol's popularity is more of a respect and acknowledgement to his game by true basketball fans. But the voting media wants hero ball type and/or out of this world performance on a consistent basis ala Curry or Harden or James. Plus, he's Spaniard, so that wont help either.

Grizzlies winning it all this year? I dont think so. Let's go Cavs! haha (LBJ fan here since 2003)

I get what you're coming from. The league definitely values hero-ball, superstar, 3-point finesse players. Still, Gasol is #1 Center in the league, has been pivotal in Grizzlies success, and will most likely lead this team to the Finals.

WCF will most likely be a 2012 rematch of Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs. And boy will that be fun to watch!!

You got seriously owned in that conversation. Forget what happened after this fight Hernandez was the bigger and taller man in this fight period.

This isn't a matter for discussion, the numbers are the numbers.:patsch:patsch

Yes, and they were a COMPLETELY different team. Spurs have plateaued since and Grizzlies are so much better now. They have an actually SF in Jeff Green, their missing piece. Have 2 players shooting above 40% from 3(Conley, Lee). Under their coach in 2012, they had a top 10 defense and bottom tier offense. This year, under their new 2nd yr coach, they have top 10 defense and top 15 offense. They're such a different team it's not even comparable. Not even including how Grizzlies have a superstar in Marc Gasol now(he wasn't prime then).

Also, it wasn't like the sweep was a blowout every game. Many of the games came down to a single possession and went to double overtimes. This year, the Grizz are 2-0 against them. One was in win and triple OT at San Antonio, the other one the Grizz blew them out.

    Pacquiao on Instagram,

"More than anything that is very important is serving the Lord and spent time with the family before the serious training for the upcoming fight. Fight who????????? hehehehe I'm excited for this!"

Guys this is so happening. Perfect announcement would be on Valentine's Day by Floyd, "I'm asking Pacquiao to be my Valentine for this May 2nd," with a photo of them signing the contract over a candle lit dinner.

They probably will. I don't see anyone posing a threat to them in the East, not even Cleveland.

Yes they would. And when he beats Pacquiao his blind haters will call it a cherry pick just like with Canelo and others. What else is new?
