Proksa was a eurobum, Rosado was going to be Golovkin's first real test.

After Rosado lost, the seasoned top 10 MW Matthew Macklin was going to be Golovkin's "first real test".

After Macklin became a eurobum, the hood-certified American chinchecker Stevens was going to be Golovkin's "first real test". **

After Stevens was bummified, the former world champion and top 5 MW Daniel Geale was going to be Golovkin's "first real test".

When Geale was stopped, the bigger Mexican puncher Marco Antonio Rubio was going to be Golovkin's "first real test"

After Rubio was relegated to Mexican cab driver status, now the unofficial lineal champ, and true conqueror of Martinez, Martin Murray is to be Golovkin's new 'first real test'....

My question, where it will the disrespect of Golovkin and his opponents end? When will there be an admission that Golovkin just is that good, or does he have to beat everybody's favorite fighter to hammer the point home?

** at this point in a tacit of admission of just how good Golovkin is, certain biased posters elected Andre Ward the creme de la creme of the division above to be Golovkin's first real test

Middleweight is pretty weak. I do think that Golovkin's biggest tests lie in the division above.

Of course, if the best at MW would fight him, and he was fighting there for 9 years, he could make one hell of a name for himself.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

They will never give him credit, they will wait for him to lose and boast that he was never that good to begin with. I'm not a big Pac fan but look what happened with him. People picked Oscar, Cotto and Hatton to kick his azz. It didn't happened but they patiently waited for year for him to lose and to proclaim that he was always a bum.

I think Golovkin is good. But we don't know yet if he is the 2nd coming like many here believe him to be...

He has fought decent opposition. But no real big names yet.

I think many would be happy to see him get the lineal title off cotto, fight Peter Quillen, or perhaps Andy Lee.

Andy Lee seems doable though. I think Quillen will continue to duck him because it appears he is harboring glass/is a coward/isn't his own man and only listens to Al Haymon.

We already had threads about Golovkin having to beat the top SMW's and LHW's before some here would admit he's the real deal at Middleweight.

It's also clear that some want him gone out of the division as soon as possible, because at this rate he's going to break a couple of division records held by ATG's. And we can't have that done by some bloke from Central Asia, cetainly not when he has some Russian roots.

i think he'd make short work of both Conducky Fried Chocolate Chicken & Andre 'the Great Bore' Ward. his first real test would be at light heavy.

Middleweight, like heavyweight is really weak. That said Wlad is more proven and tested than GGG. GGG will get his respect once he's cleaned house the way Hagler and Hopkins had to make a number of defenses and unify titles before they were taken seriously. Or he can move up and take a really difficult opponent like Froch or Ward. Those scalps would earn instant respect and praise.

I said Geale and Rubio would both be tough tests for him, and he passed so therefore I've now STFU.:hi:

GGG is world class and his best win to date is Geale who is a top 10 fighter quite easily, Murray is top 5 and in my opinion can only be beat by GGG and Quillin. If GGG beats Murray he is elite for his division, its true what they say that the true tests for GGG are in the 168 division but more so in the 175 with the likes of Kovalev and Beterbiev once he has developed. Ward is his toughest opponent possible as he seems to me like he could be his weakness, but Froch would be a seriously tough fight for him also.

he hasnt beaten the champ or best guys in his division because they wont fight him. what he has done is beaten very good MWs a **** load better then anyone else has

i look to see a repeat of this against murray. they need to force cotto to fight him or take away his title

That's what's going to happen if Cotto isn't fighting Golovkin (actually the winner of Golovkin vs Murray, but let's be real here) at least in July as I understand it.

But that would leave the lineal.

good!, its bad enough he wont fight canelo because he was "offended" which came from bob arums mouth so you just never know what kind abull**** his spinning.

whoever wants a chance to fight for the #1 in division has to face GGG for it, enoughs enough
