It wasn't History and I and other have showed you how it wasn't. Spinks fought Holmes who was THE champion he didn't move up and fight Berbick or Bonecrusher Smith.:rofl

I seriously think there is something wrong with you mentally.

If Roy had become "THE" HW champion, he would have a strong case for top 10 atg.

I wish he had hit CW first, and maybe even demanded Tarver come up to fight him...

I think at that point though Tarver was under his skin.

If he had won a title at CW, he'd have been a 5 weight world champion.

If he would have won it could be arguable but he didn't. He beat Ruiz still impressive but not worthy of being a top 10 ATG.

#1. I do agree Tarver was under his skin especially with the way he showed up to the Ruiz post fight press conference like a raving lunatic :rofl

#2. I would favor Jones against the 3 guys I listed at Cruiserweight. I think he would have KOed Braithwaight. O'Neil Bell probably would have been the toughest of the 3. I think Jones would have found a way to outlast Mormek who had awful stamina and won by a late stoppage or UD.

#3. I would have been a feather in Roy's cap for sure to capture a Cruiserweight belt or two which like I said he could have easily done (in my opinion) I don't think any of those guys would have presented big problems for Jones.

    Good post.:good

I have often thought about it, Roy woudn't have had to cut any weight as he was practially a CW fighting at HW.

It was a bad decision to drop down to LHW so fast IMO.

I'm sure you'd have given Roy credit for beating Rahman.

    It was history you fool.

It might not have been the same feat, but it was still history.

He won OFFICIAL titles at MW, LHW, HW, then went back to reclaim the LHW titles.

    That is a FACT!

    :patsch

He would never have gotten credit for beating Rahman.

The haters would have said that Rahman knocked out an old, underprepared Lewis, with a lottery punch.

In that scenario, Roy would had to have fought Lennox after. There's no way that Rico would have rated a win over Rahman.

You think the Ruiz win was completely pointless, so don't pretend that you'd have rated any win over a CW.

    You're a complete joker.

You list Jirov as a good win for Toney, but you credit Roy with nothing.

And that he ducked Tarver when he went to CW and not back to light heavy.

    Absolutely..

He would have got harsh criticism had he went to CW instead of fighting Tarver.

    Exactly.

He's a hater pure and simple.

Which means that he would never have been satisfied.
