    McCall was WBC champion and Valuev. There are probably others but not many.

    I already said I thought the fight was stopped too soon. Wouldn't have mattered, Charr would still lose.

    Um no. Vitali was up 4 rounds to zero against Charr. Vitali was up 4 rounds to 2 against Lewis and that was even with his eye ****ed up. Imagine if Vitali hadn't been cut. He would have performed even better.

    Sure he was. :lol:

    Hell no. Charr was lucky to avoid an even larger beating.

    Are you saying that if the fight went on Charr had a *real* chance to win?

    Well then you concede Lewis should have a TKO4 on his record rather than a TKO6.

    I used your reasoning and admittance to ascertain that fact.

    Povetkin didn't need any phoney cut to win, when he nearly blew Charr out of the ring.

    Forget about Dino, if he say this guy will win, then surely the other one will take the victory. This guy is complete joke and know nothing about boxing.

    I don't think it matters whether the fight was a TKO 4 or TKO 6. Lewis got lucky to score such a serious cut so early in the fight. Not as lucky as Byrd but pretty damn lucky.

    The fight was stopped pre maturely for a reason.

    What happened to Charr was illegal . He was broght to Vitali's corner instead of his own. His corner men were frozen out and not given a chance patch up the cut.

    Charr was awarded a few 100 grand in compensation. He said it said on German TV .

    It matters.

    It means shot , rusty, under prepared Lewis blitzed out prime Vital in just 4 rounds.

    Lewis lucked out either way. Not as much as Byrd but still pretty good. How many fights did Vitali lose and Leiws win by cuts? One?

    How many fights did Vitali win by cuts? One? It's something that doesn't happen a lot.

    It's difficult to judge Chris Byrd's pro career because he was clearly juiced to the gills for most of it.

    He fought in the Olympics at 165. He turned pro at light heavy. Within months, he was a 200-pounder. He fought around 210 for most of his pro life. Then, when his run at heavyweight was done, suddenly he dropped back down to light heavy. And today, he's as small as he was when he was an Olympian.

    If a pro athlete is a little skinny guy, then he bulks up quickly and stays bulked up for years, then, when his career is over, shrinks back down to where he was before, he's a juicer.

    Photo = Olympics

    Photo = Heavyweight run

    Photo = versus Holyfield

    Photo = last fight - 40 pounds lighter

    Photo = Today No longer a heavyweight.

    Yeah well I couldn't find a link for that, I did find this though...

    http://o.canada.com/sports/after-the-crossfire-vitali-klitschko-vs-manuel-charr

    Clubb: The story of the fight was Vitali Kiltschko’s dominating jab and the discouraged Manuel Charr. Klitcshko now improves to a 45-2, and 41 stoppage victories of his professional and dominating career in boxing.

    Manuel Charr, 21-1, with 11 KOs, wasn’t in the fight, didn’t apply any real pressure or flurries of combinations to show any kind of heart. His lack of skills and lack of quality experience was evident.
    He went down in the second round, and again, didn’t show any real heart to want to make an effort to fight. After taking the force of Klitschko’s jabs, it ended up creating a cut, which stopped the fight with 56 seconds left in the fourth round.

    Thats a false assessment.
    Charr went over due to bad balance , got up and continued to press Vitali back and made him look very uncomfortable. He was landing his wild swings and Vitali was clearly gassing out.

    Charr being a no skill bum was the only truth of the piece.

    vitali was lucky he has blase fans who accept such a weak, clearly unskilled opponent for a so called title defence, that's what he was lucky about.

    he was still needing to chug around at 41, shouldn't really have been defending a title above national at that age.

    How high do you rank Charr? You must rank him super high. It was stopped a round or 2 early but it would have been TKO6 for Klitschko instead. Big deal.
