Vitali lucky to have beaten Manuel Charr?

I need help from the ESB boxing community. According to Dino, Vitali was about to gas and be defeated by Charr but the paid off doctor stepped in and stopped the fight because of a cut.

Same bogus theory with Chisora. Vitali won the fights easily. Just because the other guy started to come on and be aggressive, does not mean he had a prayer in winning the fight.

 

Charr is lucky the fight got stopped on cuts and not with him seeing stars a round or two later. The fact that he could wrangle some sort of 'it was a bs stoppage I was about to win' probably helped him get fights vs the likes of Povetkin afterwards.

It was such a poor way for Vitali to finish his career though.

to be honest, vitali was showing signs of trouble. he was a shadow of his former self and its clear exactly why he was picking progressively weaker opposition.

he should have just packed in around his mid30s instead of conning his fans. Chisora is the definition of a "weak defence" in every respect, but this charr bloke was a joke way below Chiz.

 

Charr is a never was fighter. And while there are dubious double standards to Charr being stopped by cuts and Vits own stoppage loss to Lewis, i hardly think Charr had a shot at all. In acr it was just another weak meaningless paper title defense by Vittles.
