Mayweather is supposed to be this era's Leonard, Manny this era's Duran, and GGG this era's Hagler. So really any of these 3 facing each other I don't give a damn as long as they do. But they won't, that's why there is no Fab 4 today or even an attempt to devise one.

I'm actually agreeing with him ^ on this one smh.

I think the fight happens next but I'm not to high on the idea yet. HBO/SHO have yet to figure out distribution right's so until that does/doesn't happen all the talk is irrelevant.

The fight with Pac-OW will not happen as long as the Arum filth draws breath.

i don't hink Cotto - mayweather will come to fruition

    1. There will be backlash against floyd for this latest round of antics by him; he has flirted too much with the fans (tweeting, saying he wants the fight, posting videos, even promoting shots app by teasing fans)
    2. Cotto vs Floyd has already happened, little interest in seeing part 2
    3. Cotto has close ties to Arum
    4. Freddie Roach is Cotto's trainer. Freddie himself has said he much rather see Manny get this fight so Freddie may not be too thrilled about this fight. Also, If Floyd is planning on meeting Pacquiao down the road, he prob doesn't want Freddie Roach to see him up close and pick up on tactics Manny could use
    5. Floyd will be 38 by May, he either fights Pacquiao now or never.. He knows he cannot beat father time and has a couple of fights left in him
    6. He knows now that avoiding Pacquiao will hurt his legacy. No great has ducked competition - Ali didn't duck Frazier; De La Hoya fought all opponents; Duran and Sugar Ray didn't duck anyone;Sugar Robinson himself didn't duck fighters.

Khan is a much easier fight for Floyd to set up (both under showtime, same advisor) but Khan is dangerous fight for 38 year old Floyd; he won't risk losing to khan. At this point, losing to Pacquiao is a better outcome than losing to Cotto or Khan. I know you guys think Floyd is unbeatable but he's 38! these younger guys are hungry and improving.

It makes me sad when people say Khan has a better shot at beating Mayweather than Pacquiao...it's not only disrespecting Pacquiao, but Mayweather as well.

Do people forget how brilliant these two are? Even at their age? The only person who can hold a candle to Floyd is Manny, and the only person who can hold a candle to Manny is Floyd. Anything less and it is just insulting them.

it's about styles and age. Age gets to all boxers and some keep fighting until they are too old. Ali was a shadow of himself when he got old, same goes for Sugar Ray robinson.

Also, i view Khan as a risky opponent. I think Khan needs to prove himself more, like perhaps avenging his loss to Danny Garcia but i must admit that he looked impressive in last two fights. He has a glass chin but he is super quick and knows how to win rounds by scoring points. I feel confident that Floyd in his prime would beat him but i would be worried a little if they fight now...
