Has been released to purse bids by the BBBofC as a British Heavyweight Title eliminator. Fight to take place in June.

Very interesting fight. If Dillian wins it sets up a fight with AJ nicely. If Cornish wins then it gives Scotland it's first legit heavyweight.

More chance of Blobby Nelson getting a six pac than Cornish.

Think he's still a while away from an AJ fight to be honest. Interesting match up though, certainly a step in the right direction

Might be a closer fight than most will predict if Cornish can keep him at the end of his jab. Whyte obviously carries power and is living off the reputation of knocking Joshua out in the Am's but having watched his last couple of outings there isn't much tidy about his boxing.

He's obviously the favourite and I do expect a win for Whyte, I'm just saying I think Cornish will give him as hard a night as he's had.

I like this fight and am happy that it is being made. I fancy Cornish to win by UD in a mild upset. But don't expect Cornish to get very far.

To my knowledge he didn't knock him out, just knocked him down

I doubt Whyte would fancy this as he's just come back and clearly needs more conditioning.

Who is the No. 1 Contender for the British Title currently? Joshua?

Cornish is shockingly bad for how much hype is around him. He went 8 rounds with big Larry ffs.

Whyte smashes him. Whyte has a far better jab and alot more power. He's more of a natural fighter

If AJ and Whyte both win then id be up for watching a british title fight, sets the winner up for bouts with Chisora, Price, H.Fury and Towers.

Win the longsdale belt outright then move on up to Euro level and a record of 16-0 for AJ should he manage to pull through.

hopefully he wont bum around for 30+ fights over the next 5 years
