I did not ever say that was my own information. I said someone extremely close to Pacquiao's team, extremely close, said Mayweather called Pacquiao. I got this information from a friend of mine who knows David Sisson well. I wasn't sure if David wanted his name to be thrown around with this news in case Pacquiao wanted the phone-call to be on the "down low". Well, apparently David posted it on twitter and instagram, so turns out he didn't care if his name was used. His right of discrepancy was the reason I never said his name originally. However, later he decided to share the info on-record, so it didn't matter in the end. But, let me reiterate, I NEVER said the information was my own.

Don't misconstrue what I say to dampen my credibility. I work very hard to maintain it. As a Journalism major, that's all someone has in this field. And once lost, it is impossible to get back.


I've also told off-record information on here about the negotiations that I haven't told many others, from very reliable sources that haven't proven themselves wrong; however, if people continue to twist what I say and paint me as some falsity, I'll stop.

 

abuffy you made the mistake of posting that twitter handle. Now teenage boys in here will want to give you a hard time. Part of it is they get excited thinking they are flirting with a pretty girl but part of it is also thinking you are false. Not many pretty girls who are 'aspiring espn reporters' who are busy busy would spend so much time on a boxing message board. You are now going to have to tweet something that proves you spend time on boxingforum24.com to shut them up; otherwise, tune them out and continue to talk about boxing. To be honest, I'd prefer you keep posting. And that has nothing to do with you being a female. You are an intelligent and respectful poster, very insightful, and seem to "know" some people.
