I think so too... They also lost money by waiting this long. The fight promotes itself, but having a few more weeks of promotion time would've made them even more money.

Fat Dan believes, that on a scale of 1-10, that he believes the fight is going down at 6.5. He's normally pessimistic, so I guess that's a good sign.

If they announce 9 weeks out or even 8, when training camp begins, I guess at best they hit 1 or 2 cities, but I'm not even sure that's possible. Closer we get to march 1, I'm not sure how the fight could happen.

Floyd is heavily involved in negotiations now trying to fix every detail....

of his Australia trip. He's hopeful he would finally get the visa.

Because of the beating that will be biblical in proportions that Pac puts on Mayweather?

    Will Mayweather get 'Mayweathered?'

In the future, the term 'Mayweather' may very will be synonymous with: serious, disabling beating.

I'm am actually very worried that Pac might disable Floyd. Pac said that he intends on disabling him.

    Maybe Floyd shouldn't fight afterall.

Im sure it will get merged like trash on a dump but it is a legit question. Im interested to know whether YOU will have a thought of..."Ok he beat/lost against pac... but he still ducked him for years" Whether all this stalling has been remembered; rather than the accomplishment of winning. Marvin Hagler vs Floyd Mayweather; How does that play out? Well first of all, can you imagine Floyd happy to sign that fight? "Hagler's easy work" No way. Its difficult because theres a trend and you follow a pattern of previous 'offences'. Whether you like it or not he is a winner and knows how to manipulate the system until people wait with baited breath on every word he says. If he does fight pac and beat him in an unsurprising, anti-climatic points decision...

    What are you gunna say?

Many said Mayweather had a difficult time fighting southpaw until he can figure out to defeat them like Judah. Judah is no Pacquiao and all thesouthpaw floyd fought. Pacquiao is in another level aside from floyd.
Pacquiao will enter the ring to seek and destroy his opponent. They say he is no longer the same Pacquiao who KO his opponent. His killer instinct has slipped. But this is another version of Pacquiao more wiser morewas technical then before. He pick his opponent then he swarm and pressure them with flurry of punches in different angles and move out quickly.

Just imagine a boxer who was Knockdown flat on his face and sleep for a minute or two, then came back dominating three tough fighters, one who is hard puncher, one who is versatile and one who can move. Floyd
jr.having doubt that he can beat Pac easily thats why this fight hasn't happen til this day. Fans, everyone pressuring him to fight Pacquiao because they know Pac is another high octane elite fighter that give Floyd a hard fight and can win.

Doesn't erase the fact the avoided the fight for severals years including several risky fighters. The fight is getting a push right now because pacquiao called him out and it would be too obvious of a duck if floyd won't respond.

I think Pacman is not really a cherrypick for anyone, but all the trouble Floyd went thru to not make it happen, it's embarrassing. Now that Pacman has lost, Floyd has leverage on his side, no more 50-50 split, and after getting brutally ko'd, Pacman might not be the same. Timing seems to have been perfect, more money and less risk, or so it seems. But it can backfire, cuz Pacman seems to be running on all cylinders and perhaps isn't affected by the loss as most thought. Maybe it might be Floyd that might be struggling with Father Time moreso than Manny, as he struggled with Maidana, who might be underrated at 147 now. I can understand fighting GGG at a catchweight, but making catchweights with Canelo, Marquez, and ridiculous demands on which gloves his opponents should be wearing just shows his insecurities. Why make Canelo weigh in at 152 when he was fine with Oscar and Cotto at 154? Why agree with Jmm they could do 144 catchweight and then come in 2lbs overweight at 146? He had Canelo burn off those 2lbs of muscle yet he wouldn't do that for Marquez? And *****s sayin it don't matter.

The fight we all wanted has come and gone. If we have to settle of past primes of each, it's not going to answer the question as to who would have won when both were at their best. It would have been the closest thing to a Duran-SRL fight since that fight occurred.

But if he wins easily, then no, I would no longer call him a cherry picker.
