I would say for me it be Emanuel Augutus/Burton vs Ray Olivera when he refused to hit Olivera in the head when there was clearly something wrong with him and ref wouldn't stop the fight.

    Thoughts?

Some referee are ****ing sadists. Same thing with the Margarito/Pacquiao fight. ****ing Pacquiao was looking at the referee to stop the fight and had to slow down his offense.

Maybe not the classiest, but it was real classy when Macklin fell over GGGs foot, and GGG stepped back and let him up

It's not always the ref. Remember that fans pay hard earned money to see these fights and they want action. Promoters understand this and they will push for a longer leash when necessary.

pac vs margo pac kept looking at the ref to stop the fight..............

pac also many times encouraged his opponent to hit him so they can stay in the fight.....

Upon decisioning the great Azumah Nelson, Genaro "Chicanito" Hernandez is handed the World title belts, but he hands them back to Nelson and insists "The Proffesor" walk out of the ring wearing them.
That type of class is rarely displayed nowdays.

woodhall admitting he lost a decision he was awarded in the post-fight interview was typically classy.
