Hughie Lewis Fury is a 6'6 20 year old Heavyweight with a 15-0 8 KO's record. Born in Stockport, Cheshire, United Kingdom and fighting out of Manchester, Lancashire. Baby Hughie the Gold Medalist at the 2012 Youth World Amateur Boxing Championships is the Son of Peter Fury and the cousin of Tyson Fury for those of you who didn't already know and they are both descended from a long line of Irish Travellers or basically Irish Gypsies, and I actually think he may be the bigger puncher of the cousins, although its hard to tell because Tyson has fought the far more durable competition out of the two. He and Tyson are striving to be the "New Klitschko's" which in my estimation is quite a lofty goal and hard to do since they're not real brothers and don't have near the power or skill of K2. But nonetheless at the very young age of 20 Hughie is making decent sized waves in the Division and although he didn't beat Mike Tyson's record as the youngest Champion he may make it to second place. And luckily for him, he's the better looking of the two Fury's but unlucky for him he doesn't have near the loudmouth self promoting qualities of Tyson, so he may suffer in the marketability department but he still seems like a nice lad. So Check Out Hughie In Furious Action. :toney:toney:toney:toney

He has a huge upside. 6' 6", 20 years old, and technically more sound than most guys in the division.

Thus far he has not displayed much power, but he might hit harder now that he has shed his mystery illness, and in any event, it will increase somewhat as he physically matures. fighters of his size do not fully develop until they are 30 or older.

Kids no match for Anthony Joshua. He'll be keeping well away from AJ...mark my words. Otherwise Joshua will bring him a swift KO defeat.

Well, he's also only 20 years old, compared to a 27 yo Joshua with olympic pedigree.

I have to agree tough, as of now Joshua woud probably stop him. Too much power difference. But between 5 years, who knows. When you are 25 you look back at your 20 years old version and laugh at what looked impossible to do in the gym.

Also there are some interesting rumors that Hughie may hit harder than what it look:

"American heavyweight Kevin Johnson has expressed his admiration for Hughie Lewis Fury and backed the unbeaten youngster to fulfil his potential and one day win a world heavyweight title.

The 20-year-old Fury, cousin of Tyson, takes a major step up in class on February 21, when he meets Ukrainian puncher Andriy Rudenko over ten rounds in Monte Carlo, and Johnson, who has helped Hughie with sparring ahead of the fight, is amazed at the rate of improvement.

"I fell in love with the kid back in Canada when I first boxed with him," he said. "He must've only been 17 or 18 years of age.

"What I love about the guy is he's brought a little bit of the American craft and added that to his style. That's unusual for fighters from over here. Most fighters from Europe tend to be pretty basic – one-two, one-two, one-two-three type of fighters. But this kid has learnt and developed the American way and that separates him from the rest.

"I see things in him that these other prospects don't have. He has composure, poise and he can throw shots they can't. He doesn't just do the A, B, C, basic stuff. He's always thinking in there and is able to improvise when he needs to. The kid can hit, too. He hits like a horse kicks. You can't play with him.

"He's coming up right behind Tyson already and he's only 20 years of age. That's incredible. I really do think he has the ability to go all the way."

As for the test that awaits Fury on February 21, Johnson sees no reason why Hughie Lewis won't be able to keep his unbeaten record intact.

"This is no easy walk in the park for Hughie," said Johnson. "If he gets careless and gets clipped, he could get dropped or worse.

"Some people are surprised he's stepped up so quickly, but I'm not. I always say this to myself: 'If you plan on being the world heavyweight champion, why the hell would you worry about a guy who is 21-0? He's not the heavyweight champion. He means nothing to me.'

"Well, I think Hughie is probably looking at Rudenko the same way. He sees him as a guy who is 24-1 and who has been beaten by Lucas Browne. Those are the cold, hard facts. Rudenko is not a world heavyweight champion and he probably never will be. Hughie, though, is good enough to one day win a world heavyweight title, so he should be confident of beating a guy like Rudenko at this stage."

In any way, keep bringing on new prospects... There will be a lot of unpredictable matchups between 2 years when Wlad will be gone.
    Bookers will go crazy

Even with the layoff, Fury has all the time in the world to win a title. He's still only 20.

Hughie is the future. He gave Kingpin all he could handle already so early in his career.
Kingpin said he punches like a mule kicks.

AJ ducked out of his fight with Kingpin.

If Fury wins his next but it will really propell him forward, hasn't been fantastic up to now but at 20 there's bags of potential....him vs Joshua will Is hard to call but with 3 more fights I'd face Fury.

I think he could be better than tyson when he fills out and grows stronger. Smooth puncher, great body attack.

Did you seriously call him a bigger puncher than Tyson? No not even close, the guy has very little power, maybe now that he doesn't have that stomach virus or whatever it was anymore he can fight to his full potential, but the guy barely takes out cans.

Very crisp and technical boxer, good jab, well schooled. Kind of reminds me of Malik Scott.

Hughie will dominate. He would whoop AJ right now. Haven't seen such skills in a big HW in a very long time. Which HW digs to the body like he can?
