Broke my hand in first round of first fight only reason lifted in air was to use it somehow without pain running up arm , hand swollen like ballon today. Don't worry learned loads and itching to get back prove better than that, if could've used right hand fully might have went different but wasn't my night !!

Luke done himself proud last night, he busted his hand in the first fight and he was only shaded out of it by Doran, who is a very well schooled fighter. This is only a three round tournament, and he basically lose one more round than his opponent, not the end of the world and he has a bright career ahead of him.

Ormond was giving Flannagan hell for the first 7 rounds of that fight, he broke up his long boxing style and was clearly winning the fight, despite what the cheerleading commentators were spouting. The ref didnt help his case with allowing Flannagan to constantly hold, but it was absolute madness with the continuous headbutts and he was rightly DQ'd. One thing he showed last night is that he belongs at that level and there is no reason why he can't go on to secure a future title shot.

Pascal Collins has been voted trainer of the year by BUI two years in a row for very good reason, he has a great stable and worked wonders - he just needs a break on the promotional side for his fighters to achieve their goals.

Great experience for you, its a real shame about the injury in the first fight, but you can't plan for things like that. On to the next fight champ.:bbb

You looked dynamite in that first round against Crowcroft. It's obvious now what happened and when it happened.Probably you should have pulled out. Hope there's no long term damage to the hand.

Thanks lads yea hard to have high work rate with one hand but took a chance taught I could win with one hand wasn't meant to be, learned more losing than if won so maybe blessing in disguise I'll stick to my boxing in future and hopefully I can get a rematch with winner soon as possible.

Apparently Ormond was down 88-80 on all three cards.

that does not surprise me... an irish boxer fighting against a british boxer in britain will always face this sort of curruptness.... :good
