Dude I'm beginning to question your boxing Knowledge. Seriously tell the truth, when did you start following the sport. You thought Emmanuel was in Olivers corner in the second fight when it was the other way around.
I said sorry that I'm getting ****ish, but that doesn't mean you should start lying. Show me where I said any such thing.
Wladimir would have as many losses had he fought in that era. Forget lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield was fighting in this era, he would have been undefeated too.
All I'll say is watch the Lewis-McCall fight again When McCall threw that puch that Ko'd Lewis his eyes were CLOSED!!! It was really just a hail mary shot
I'm a big Lewis fan but that punch was not some lucky punch, it was prepared and rehe****d over and over. Oliver had hurt Lewis with that same punch a few rounds before the knockout I don't remember what round it was. Watch espn ringside lennox Lewis and hear Manny Steward describe that punch and the preparation that went into producing it.
If fighting at a high level at an advanced age is all that matters, then B-Hop would be the GOAT. :smoke
Wladimir would have beat Evander down just like Bowe did, he'd have probably stopped him all 3 times had they fought. The post Steward Wlad would have been dominant then as well IMO.
Lennox retired at EXACTLY the right time He retired t HIS time of choosing. Lennox had beaten everyone of any consequence that was available. Wlad could have challenged him but ran & hid. Ike Ibeabuchi was unavailable though he was spoken of as a challenger till he foolishly called that lying hooker in Vegas. Its true both Lennox wife & his Mother, both named Violet coincidently, were wanting him to retire he had nothing left to prove. He made the correct choice
True but you can't neglect longevity when evaluating a fighters credentials. Wlad's longevity is an impressive feat.
What are you talking about? Lewis was knocked out in the second round. It looks like it is I that needs to question your boxing knowledge. Don't go editing now.
Can Wlad fight on the inside? I don't even think Wladimir could have beaten Holyfield in the second Lewis fight.:hi:
Just read today that lewis' estranged father named Carlton Brooks who he hadn't for years before the tyson fight was a stockily built man but only 5'6 tall. Reserval of lennox lewis height, I don't think his mum was that tall either. fun fact.
