I don't think British officials are all that bad. (Obviously there are some beauties like IJL...).
For example I would have few concerns about Andy Lee facing say BJS in the UK, whereas I can practically guarantee you he will be ripped off in the US against Quillin.

But is Ormond not a W.arren fighter? Given an even playing field, Ormond could handle Flannagan easily. Shockin carry on but thought W.arren might of seen Ormond as a title hopeful. That is if he was promoted by him, I'm not too sure.

if u think w.arren was bringing over Ormond to advance his career then yer very naïve.... he couldn't care 1 iota for Ormond that's clear 2 c....if he did he would have been running shows in Dublin after the Matthews win instead of letting him sit idle:good

Latest "traveller feud" murder victim buried today. Such a shame Nevin - himself a victim of this mindless thuggery, and he also being a celebrity boxing star and potential role model for good in that "community", doesn't speak out. Very sad. Very disappointing.

Haha this chap is nuts . A chap was shot dead in Dublin last night maybe a boxer from the settled community should speak out about this for the "settled community". Grade A lunatic ye are Len, ye do give me a laugh though I'll give ye that.

Keeler broke his hand in the first round of first fight I think (open to correction) it was a pity as he looked very powerful in the first then you could clearly see the difference after that.

Ormond was unlucky looked like he was starting to get on top then the headbutt but I can understand his frustration with Flanagan constant holding, he should try get fights in the States he still has big fights out there for him.

Two professional world champions and multi-award winning amateurs, including Katie Taylor, arguably our greatest ever sportsperson, and the best female boxer ever. Not bad for a population of about 5 million max.

things looking good for both irish and british,

hopefully this won't degenerate into arguing over who's Irish or British.

Quite a few there that technically aren't Irish, just have roots to Ireland.

Not to hijack but why isn't wrestling more popular in Ireland? The late Billy Robinson said that catch wrestling got it's start in England several decades ago but lost popularity with the changing nature of youth culture and increased choices of activities like video games ect. ect..

Nice to see that at least kids are still boxing but most seem to come from the Traveler's culture/background. Still quite remarkable the number of elite fighters such a small area produces.
