At the very best it was a draw no way could it be considered a robbery, Murray lost against Sturm and Martinez barely, which mean at his very best he can only muster a close fight. Which will not even come close to happening against GGG. A robbery is Herrera Garcia where Mauricio won 9 or 10 rounds please find me 6 that Murray won comfortably even the rounds he looked okay in, were very close.
I know that and I don't give a damn what they think, Harold Lederman gave it to Sergio as well not that I care what he says either, it was a close fight and because expectations of a Sergio blowout were so high that by him looking so average it made people think Murray did better than he actually did, go back and watch it and rescore it without the commentary constantly telling how bad Sergio looks and you'll see that Sergio won it close. Murray barely threw a punch for the first 5 or 6 rounds and lost the last 2 and one in the middle Murray at best won 2 or 3 rounds, Sergio outworked him and you don't see that then you don't know to score a fight. Murray is a bum deal with it, he couldn't even stop and one legged Sergio who was ripe for the picking because he's a scared ***** who doesn't like to engage, which is how he'll fight against GGG and he'll still get KTFO in 3 to 5. Murray is also a dirty fighter he winked at his corner after hitting Martinez in the nuts and the first KD he was going backwards and off balance as usual and the second he was bending down going backwards, you guys do know there was torrential downpour that night don't you and the KD's or slips were beside the ropes.
Funny At first, the Americans on here couldn't stand GGG. Bum, hype job, Cherry picker etc HBO turn him into 'the next coming' The Americans then try to take him as their own, and will now take an arrow to the heart for him. Hell, they'll even disrespect a man who risks his life in the ring for their new found hero. It's pretty pathetic actually.
My completely accurate myopic view, Murray did not win, at best it was a draw, and in no way was it a robbery, close matches people shouldn't consider robberies, but that's them letting their myopic view cloud their judgment. I 'm not saying Sergio looked great he looked awful, but still did enough to beat Murray, that's just how bad Murray is, he couldn't beat a shell of Sergio in his worse night in the ring, until the Cotto match of course.
"Completely accurate" when you claim Murray threw nothing in the first 6 rounds yet the stats show him outlanding Martinez from Rounds 4-6 with 1 punch in it in the 3rd. http://compuboxonline.com/compubox-stats-martinez-w-12-murray/ But he did beat him, in the eyes of the Argentinians, the eyes of the British and in the eyes of the US broadcaster, in his backyard in front of 40,000 hostile fans. But your eye is the only one eye that counts, fine, like I said, spare me.
Murray robbed? That didn't happen. For 11 rounds he made it a very close fight. Than he dropped the last round. How do you expect him to then get the decision in Argentina? He was far too conservative. Did he even throw a combination?
Wasn't robbed against Sturm either, don't know where this came from, it's like someone said he was robbed and then people who haven't seen the fight just went with it (if anything Sturm won that fight BTW).
