so basically many can turn into Manny Pacquiao's, Floyd Mayweather's and Lance Armstrongs by taking PEDs? do you realize how many athletes have cheated without coming even close to matching these athletes?

PEDs help but they don't make you superhuman, this is a myth. So many cyclists, boxers, baseball players etc.. have taken PEDs have not even achieved mediocre results...

in the end, drugs can increase your energy, help you build muscle faster but you remain human, your cells don't morph into steel or you all of a sudden get faster... there is absolutely no substitute for working hard and talent; hard work and talent will DESTROY JUICING any day of the week.

I remember watching a 170 lb ROYCE GRACIE dominate a guy that was a monster - like 250 lbs and everyone said he was juicing. It didn't matter one bit as Royce was just superior in skill and natural gifts.

PEDS help but they absolutely do not make you superhuman or fund you into a great athlete WITHOUT natural talent and hard work. Many people love to talk about the successful ones that are caught cheating but they never talk about the failures that cheat and these greatly outnumber the successful athletes, they just lack natural gifts and work ethic.

i really don't believe that they make as much difference as people think.

In tennis, for instance, some of the ones caught using drugs have been nobodies.

You mean Pac is ducking again. This is the norm for Pac. He says one thing to his gullible fan, like "we agreed to everything and just waiting for Floyd to sign". Yet, Pac hasn't signed a darn thing and still adding ridiculous demands after his ultimatum from last month passed.

You guys have nothing to break down mentally. Pac clowns don't have brains.

Where did it say that the $5M stipulation was added recently? The article on b*xingscene said that Pac was the one to suggest the fine but no where did it say he recently added it, for all we know, that could have been there since the beginning of negotiatons. :patsch

This guy is spot on. The easiest way to explain it is in a world of no PEDS usain bolt would still be the fastest 100m sprinter. Now obviously if you had 2 guys who could sprint 100m in 9.6secs then if one took peds he'd gain an advantage. But as above above said if a nobody takes them then theyl still remain a nobody.

The effects are widely exagerated but no doubt about it they do give you an edge and will help YOU improve.

When will it sink in to some of you guys heads that.....

ANY use of EPO steroids & PED's of any kind are ILLEGAL!!! EVERYONE caught using them should be banned from the sport IMMEDIATELY!!!
That is the only way to control this. EVERY test known to doctors should be used in ALL contests. You clowns that say PED's are no help need to answer this question .. WHY do people use them???? EVERYONE that does is a CHEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Logic 101: Floyd asking for testing is ducking. Pacquiao asking for testing is because it's normal. :p

    Stop lying, idiot.

The eight-division world champion said negotiations were nearly complete after he dropped his opposition to drugs screening -- and even suggested a $5 million fine if he tests positive.

"We agreed to their demand. In fact, I suggested a $5 million fine if I test positive for drugs," he said.[/B

Where is the new demand here ?

people got it all wrong. This business about Pacquiao suggesting a 5mm fine may have been sorted out a while ago... it's not necessarily something Pacquiao just tried to add to the contract. This probably came up a while ago when drug testing was talked about

That's how I interpreted it; that it was resolved and added into the contract weeks ago.

O gad, large sized text only makes you appear that much dumber.

He [Pacquiao on Feb 16] said he asked that the provision be included in the contract because of Mayweather’s repeated allegations that he was using performance-enhancing drugs.

That is the additional demand well beyond the date Pac AGREED to everything and his ultimatum last month :deal:deal:deal We know the real reason he's adding it is because Pac KNOWS what Ariza protein shakes did for Pac's career.
