I know!! "...before serious training for my upcoming m....fight."

Floyd needs to announce it soon, or Pacquiao will!

the fans, this fight is closest to being made at least 2 to 4 years too late

Historically, Mayweather is going to take a lot of heat for not making this fight happen. Financially, Pacquiao is going to be hurt from the big payday this could offer.

If it does happen, which I highly doubt, then both Mayweather and Pacquiao stalled long enough to make more money fighting other opponents. It was nothing but a business move to maximize profits. In the end, the sport is their lives and main source of income.

they could of made more fighting a trilogy with each other in their prime (2008-2011) than they did fighting the Algieries, Ortizes and Maidanas of the boxing world, who, without any disrespect to them, aren't anything close to their level

btw, both camps are to blame for this mega fight not happening (2008-2011) when it could of been rightly dubbed as a megafight, now it's just a really good fight between two of the best fighters in the last 15 years who have slipped considerebly

Pacquiao by far. He's always fighting Floyd's leftovers 5 yrs later. No wonder he ends up knocking them out. He thought he could do the same to Marquez, but his papi Jmm ***** slapped him and put him in his place. Manny was only #1 when Floyd was away and kept robbing Jmm. Now Floyd is back and guess who #1?

The internet hate for Mayweather is ridiculous, and deserved.

stephen a smith of espn is always claiming Bob Arum is the problem. I'm tired of this excuse. It's hard for me to imagine an 80 year old having the energy or motivation to stop the fight from happening. I see absolutely no benefit here for Bob Arum. He has frequently stated he is sick of being asked about this fight and just wants it made. Does Bob Arum really want to spend the last 5-10 years of his life being harassed about this stupid fight? if he does, he's one of a kind.

This is all Floyd Mayweather and Showtime, they probably hate Bob Arum and are trying to squeeze him and HBO for all they can get. Bob may want the fight but isn't going to let them abuse him either, they have to be reasonable too. One way Floyd can stop this from happening is to make such unreasonable demands as to make Bob Arum angry and then blame Bob Arum. 'I want 60/40; i want Showtime to get this and that; I want Mayweather productions to promote the fight; i want these gloves; i want this and that and this and that' Then when Bob Arum comes back with 'no way, be reasonable' then Floyd can whine 'IT'S BOB ARUM, HE'S THE ONE'. Ultimately Floyd wants to ruin Arum and wants him out, which is totally not what a guy truly wanting this fight should be focusing on.

It's all a game of kids and girls and i'm convinced Floyd is the main obstacle, has always been the case. He knows how to push arum's buttons. It's really silly to think that Bob Arum is going to stand in the way when his fighter and his fighter's advisor want the fight badly and would threaten to leave arum if arum is making things difficult.

5 or 6 years now the same schizophrenic arguments over and over, which is normal in a sense. The same argument, with a few wrinkles here and there, will finally be put to rest... Hopefully.
