This just goes to show how much of a phenomenal champ Klitschko really is. Here he fights an ATG in spectacular shape yet it's "a mismatch".

We're witnessing something very special during this era. Sit back and take it in boys.

Wlado is a great champion, no questions, his resume has some decent names, like Povetkin, Byrd, Ibragimov or Peter, but some of his opponents, like Pianeta, Wach, Mormeck or Leapai, were non deserving of a title shot to say the least

still, many champions over the years have fought not only great fighters, but a mix of no-names as well, just look at Hopkins or Jones Jr list of opposition

    :deal

People criticize the 80's but can you imagine Hagler carrying on fighting after his loss to Leonard, becoming pretty much shot, gaining 50lbs of fat and then outboxing Evander Holyfield? No me neither.

Mormeck is an ATG CW who fought Klitschko while in spectacular shape. That's a fact

That disgraceful debacle got Wlad banned from Sky Sports.

All over 40 year old, two year retired Mormecks back. Just look at the state of him:tired:oops:

There's more of this farcical behavior to come after Jennings , when he drags Briggs into the ring for a shot at all the belts and shamefully ducks Tyson Fury.

    lololo:rofl:patsch:oops:

OK....Ive nto argued this with you, so I'll educate you on it, and hopefully you'll learn, and teach others who are ignorant of a fact.

    1. Byrd was NEVER a MW as a pro. He made 2 fights at LHW, not SMW, and definitely NOT MW. Then he made 2 fights at CW. Then, he took his SIZE and his talent where they belonged......to HW where he made his entire career, losing only to elites, and being ducked by more than a couple of ATGs.

    2. Byrd didn't WALK DOWN and BEAT Vitali Klitschko. Klitschko TORE his ROTATOR cuff and quit in a fight he could have singlehandedly won 8-4 if he gave away the final 3 rds.

    3. LEWIS DUCKED BYRD. Tyson DUCKED Byrd.

Now, as to the other POTENTIAL HOFer that Wlad has beaten or could have been HOFers if it were not for the dominance of the K2......

Potvektin (Wins over Takam, Charr, Byrd(HOF), Boz, Huck(ATG), Rahman(HOF), Chagaev(HOF) Chambers)
Byrd (Wins over Vitali(ATG) Holyfield (ATG) McCline, Golota, Oquendo, Tua, Cooper)
Pulev (Wins over Thompson, Ustinov, Dimitrenko, Walker, Rossy, Guinn)
Haye (Wins over Valuev(HOF), Ruiz(HOF), Chisora, Enzo, Mormeck(ATG))
Peter (Wins over Maskaev, McCline, ToneyX2(ATG), Sykes, and Williams)
Chambers (woulda coulda shoulda.....Robbery loss to Adamek(ATG), wins over RossyX2, Peter (HOF) Dimitrenko, Brock and Guinn)
Chagaev (2X World titlist, wins over Oquendo, Walker, Meehan, Drummond, Ruiz(HOF), Virchys, Valuev(HOF))
Ibragimov (retired b/c he was simply NOT the best. Wins over Holyfield(ATG), Briggs, Austin, Whitaker, Cole(HOF))
Rahman (Wins over Barrett, Meehan, Cole(ATG), Lewis(GOAT), Sanders(HOF)
Mercer (Wins over Morrison (HOF), Damiani, Cooper, and Halstead)
Shultz (robbery losses to ATG Foreman, and HOF Moorer, and AkinwandeX2, wins over McBride, Ribalta, and Smith )
Botha (Wins over Shultz, Hoffman, Bostice, and Gilbert)

Now.......disagree fine. But you can't argue that one era is better than the other when you cross over eras with both W's and L's fighting opposition for different eras.

Fact is that Wladimir Klitschko has won titles in 4 different eras now. And in doing so, he's kept fighters from each of those eras from becoming who they may have been has Wlad not destroyed them.

If the K2 had not existed, the flow of HW title hot potato would have continued and several of the argued, NOT HOF fighters would have gotten their hands on the hot potato, and been considered elite for it.

But, K2 snatched up the titles, and dominated 3 of the 4 eras they fought in. And held their own for who they were granted fights with in the late 90s era.:deal:deal:deal:deal
