I think it is also important to note that the weights Roy spend the majority of his career at, there is a long history of great fighters... Not so much at 168.

Have you researhed andro at all? It was proven to be worthless as a PED. I also read too that Jones failed for Andro, but I also read that no one knows what he failed for because a second test was never submitted. Far too much speculation for a "convicted" PED cheat in my opinion.

I think it's funny you guys push circumstances for fighters your biased against but fighters you like are immune to it. Toney was a walking zombie for the fight it doesn't matter what he did before if he was not the same fighter on the night of. Like a lot of you guys say RJJ wasn't the same after going back down to LHW from HW and push the circumstances for his losses to Tarver and Johnson but when JT falls apart before the fight it's somehow different. He even lost his fight afterwards and never fought the same kind of opposition again.

 

While I can see the mistake of failing for Andro in an over the counter no one reads labels. Jones was supposed to submit a second test but he didn't and if you research Andro it can only give you 2 times the amount of testosterone and Jones had 6 times. I don't think he took Andro.

You guys say RJJ was prime for Ruiz but not Tarver because he lost 10-20 pounds but Toney was after losing 47 pounds GTFO.

 

Toney was not a walking zombie he was competitive ..Unlike Roy who just covered up for most of his fights after coming back down from HW ..Also Toney's fight with Griffen after Roy went the distance then he won his next fight by TKO..But he did end up losing to Griffen again so it may have been a matter of style more than anything ..

Jones on the other hand suffered two back to back KO's just watch the Johnson fight all he did was lay on the ropes and cover up I never saw James do,that .


And James was able to have success at cruiser against Jorov who was highly rated and still manged to have success at hw ..Those circumstances were completely diffrent. Jones was never the same fighter again after he came back from HW but you want to compare that to Toney who still had success after Roy yeah ok ..
