killer instinct thing is blown way out of proportion...who cares really as long as he wins. He totally dominated Rios, Bradley and algieri so who cares if he destroyed them or put them to sleep? I think the more recent Pacquiao may be even more of a challenge for Floyd. Pacquiao may have learned from that JMM KO where his killer instinct was pretty much his undoing - he was too aggressive and reckless. I'm not sure being aggressive and reckless is the winning formula against Mayweather cause Floyd may catch him good and hurt him if Pacquiao is careless. The Pacquiao that beat Bradley in their second fight was a smarter, more tactical yet aggressive Pacquiao. I believe that the JMM KO may have smartened up Pacquiao and he will need to be smart vs Mayweather who is tactically the biggest challenge of his career. A combination of aggression and smart tactics will be needed against Floyd.. If anything, i think the more recent Pacquiao has a better shot at Mayweather than the old ultra aggressive, yet more reckless, Pacquiao.

 

Im not happy at all this fight anit happening in May/June!! I think this fight was gonna be an instant classic and bring the sport a great high profile fight because most high profile fights havent been good. (May-Maidana 1 was great but other then that the ppv fights have sucked in the last 2 years) and this fight wouldve been a ppv fight that would've been awesome!!

I love both fighters!! Nothing but respect to both and Canelo has been fighting the best the last couple years, more then anybody else. but this May-pac is gonna happen, Like Cotto knew, and told Canelo lets fight in June and this guy pull the offer off the table (Not him but told Oscar to take it off) SO im not gonna say he DUCKED Cotto but come on bro!!

canelo is moving from May 2 GURANTEED NOW!! So what was the point of not fighting Cotto again? Cotto didnt want to fight May 2 because he knew May-Pac was gonna happen and that would've HURT boxing big time with 2 mega ights on one night and Cotto anit stuip!

Man im just ****ed!! Im not saying Canelo-Kirkland cant be good, BUT ITS NOTHING LIKE COTTO-CANELO!!

So how will you feel about Canelo moving from May 2 but not fighting Cotto? Im ****ed but i still see the fight in the future for sure! But Canelo cant say the fight in Septemeber when everybody knows these guys will rematch the next Septemeber date so it defeats the purpose! Im hoping Cotto-Canelo happens in October. I will not give Canelo a pass unless he fights GGG or Cotto is fighting GGG, if not then HE NEEDS TO FIGHT COTTO because he did some pull **** with not fighting him now.

Of course Canelo didnt duck Cotto, Cotto ducked him. Canelo might not move from May 2, depends on if Floyd-Manny is made. If it isnt he will fight on the date.

I already explained at length that Oscar/Canelo had long since agreed to move the date if Floyd and Manny fought. Cotto ducking Canelo never had anything to do with that date.
