He was hurt but it was an illegal shot and Dr. Delusional and Captain Clueless Loudon and IMP seem to have immense difficulty grasping this very simple concept and they also struggle to grasp the painfully simple concept that Joe's punch resistance was not what it once was by that stage of his career too. In their scarily warped delusional minds Joe was immune to the ageing process and the wear and tear of spending over a quarter of a century getting whacked in the head repeatedly. Such things only affect their juiced-up god Roid. It's always a completely different story when it comes to his rivals though, even if they accumulated much more damage than Roid did during their careers due to fighting in a much more aggressive style than him.

A KD is a KD why would, the ref have counted them if it was illegal? Guess you know more than the ref and punch resistance the guy was dropped by journeymen in his prime you can't be serious with that ..His punch resistance wasn't what it once was he was also dropped by Hopkins since when has Hopkins ever had power ..Punch resistance was gone yeah ok ..

:patsch You're beyond clueless. Absolutely zero point trying to engage in a serious debate with you mate. I'm, sorry but your bias and stupidity when it comes to anything Roid or Joe related is often painful. :good

    Fair enough.

    But there's lots to consider.

A faded version of James had a better skill set than Ruiz.

But you've said that Toney was like a zombie.

Whereas Ruiz was a 226 pound HW, who was tough and effective, even though he was awful to watch.

    Also, Roy wasn't 25, he was 34.

So I would have thought that you'd have rated the Ruiz win higher.

But again, I respect your opinion.

I was unaware an era was only judged by a year of boxing.:rofl It was you that named "the time." And I don't believe I was even speaking of Jones, but Ruiz you idiot.

I was also thinking more of a bigger picture when I made the statement but I don't expect your simple little brain to digest it.:roll:

    Which one am I?

    Dr. Delusional, or Captain Clueless?

It was an illegal shot, but it wasn't intentional. It was mistimed. Roy's timing was out.

Joe was clearly past his best at 36. But my point is, he was susceptible to a right hand like that all throughout his career. IMHO, if Roy had've thrown that against any version of Joe, he could have dropped him.

Not long now until the Eubank fight. I'd love to watch that with you with a beer. Ha! Will you be screaming at the TV? I will if Floyd and Manny ever fight.

    That is their modus operandi.

You will find there are 3 of them.

GIMPerial, he is simply the resident moron.

Mind fvcked, if he was half as clever as he thinks he is, he'd be twice as clever as he " actually " he is.

Neither of them is worthy of debate, rather they are only fit to abuse.

The third, and misguided though genuine, one is Loudon. I say this because he genuinely believes his total bias, particularly towards Roid Jones, is reasonable.

He will constantly say things along the lines of.

" You have to see things from Roids perspective. "

" You must take Roids circumstances into account."

" X, Y, or Z ( pick whoever you like ) said this that or the other ( something favourable, or complimentary ) about Roid so therefore it MUST be true. "

    All the time of course.

Never seeing anything from a Roid opponents point of view.

Never taking into account a Jones opponents circumstances.

And never ever accepting anything anyone says criticising Jones, or indeed complimenting one of his opponents, as being genuine.

All this in the name of impartiality of course.:lol::rofl

As I said though, in the main this is not done with malice on his part, just misguided blind loyalty, towards Jones.

The other muppets though, are a totally different kettle of fish. They just spew out revisionist clap trap for the pure sake of it.

Either you can't even read properly or you don't even attempt to try. You often respond to what you think people said. I explain to you in simple terms why you're biased, giving you clear examples of it and then you go and give me another demonstration of your bias and double standards in your next reply, whist being completely oblivious to the fact you're doing it. The only thing more astonishing than your bias and double standards when it comes to Roid and Joe is how unaware of it you are. Truth be told I'd rather not insult you but you make it extremely hard just by being you.

I honestly believe that same punch finding its mark on Joe the way he was moving would have hurt him more than the forearm did, which was illegal though unintentional , but the ref couldn't see it clearly because he was at Roy's back I believe.

I love it when you wriggle and squirm like the lying piece of **** that you are.

    Moan wrote.

. You seem like a Jones nut hugger. The fact he was a top 5 heavyweight only solidifies he beat a bum in a weak heavyweight era.

    You replied.

A weak Era? Lennox Lewis, Vitali, Wlad, Byrd, Tua, Sanders..

    Yeah, that era sucked.

I pointed out the idiocy of your post by showing the stats at the time Jones had his little foray into the Heavy division.

You are indeed an idiot, and there must be some stones you can crawl back under, so why don't you give it a try.

Dr. Delusional but both apply when it comes to some of the stuff you and IMP come out with when discussing Roid and Joe. Nice guys but I do find myself doing this :patsch quite often when I read some of your posts about them.

I never said it was intentionally illegal just that it was illegal and should in no way, shape or form be used to illustrate what would've happened had Roid had landed a legal punch on him had they fought each other in their primes. If Joe caught Roid with a shot like that we know for damn sure you and IMP would be whistling a completely different tune. lol

I hate beer, always have always will. I don't even drink anymore but when I did I was a whiskey kind of guy. However, I'd happily down a bucket full of the Devil's diarrhea if meant I was guaranteed to see that liltte sh*tbag Eubank Jr. laying face down on the canvas out cold :D
