It think its more likely that it actually is one of those types of fights than actually being a competitive, memorable fight

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. It cuts deeper than that though. Pac fans hate anything associated with Floyd like networks (SHO), like agents (Haymon), places (Vegas) ... Even worse they try justify Pac's status by diminishing Floyd.

I've gone as far to acknowledge Floyd and Pac are 1A-1B until they fight. It's in my history somewhere.

It takes 2 fighters to make a classic fight at the end of the day if one fighter is just trying to survive and run it does not help making it a classic fight you know that I am sure
