Whats the matter? Have all the other maggots kicked you out from under their stones?

Rico is embarrassing Loudon and all you other nut huggers, by simply quoting HBO's words in the question " why was Roid reluctant to fight the guy who had the titles before being stripped of them, and who was THE champion of the 175 division?"

As usual, none of you can answer so you waffle on into tangents that avoid the question at all costs.

Europe has NOTHING to do with the ASIAN continent robbing Jones in the amateurs more than a decade earlier.

Another inconvenient FACT that you can wriggle and squirm from.

Oops my bad, I forgot you fvking Yanks are so thick you can't even pin point the countries you invade on an atlas, or at least your president couldn't.

Toney knocked Holyfield down and the fight was stopped after he got up.. So Toney STOPPED Holyfield... You can't rewrite history. Many fights are stopped while a fighter is standing... Are you going to argue now that Jones didn't stop Woods?:patsch

The punch was nowhere near his chest you ignorant fool, it was a clean head shot.

    [yt]9ynKvpgrD8c[/yt]

7:53 for the live shot, 9:06 for the slow motion replay

Don't duck Rico, and explain to us how that went anywhere near Roy's chest, it was right in the side of the head.

It proves his chin wasn't as glass as you say.. And it's funny you jumped all over me saying Toney didn't stop Holyfield because Holyfield got up, now you are here saying Jones couldn't handle a punch from Del Valle even though Roy got up and wiped the floor with him... This is a perfect highlight of your crazy little double standards.:yep

Roy wanted Holyfield dork, but at the end of their trilogy, it was Ruiz with the belt...

What now are you going to tell me Ruiz didn't hurt Holyfield??:rofl

How was fighting Ruiz in the U.S. with NO belt, the same as going to Germany with ALL of the MAIN belts??

Keep telling yourself that Jay Nady got an easy decision win over Ruiz, instead of Roy.

Now are you going to answer my simple question?

Why do you support what was said in the post fight Frazier interview, yet ignore everything that was said in the pre Brannon interview?

We already told you that beating:

    Otis Grant
    Richard Frazier
    Richard Hall
    Glen Kelly
    Clinton Woods
    Julio Gonzalez

doesn't mean anything. Roy would not look like he did against those bums like he would against Kovalev, GGG, Hagler, SRR or anyone else.

There is a stark absence in Roy's resume of savage punchers even though they were available to him. Why? What does that tell us about Roy and his reluctance?

Are you trying to tell me the referee stopped the fight?:rofl

Again, there was NOTHING tying Jones to having to fight Ruiz. Not a damn thing. He could have fought ANY of the 4 beltholders at the time. He for some odd strange reason chose Johnny Ruiz.

Those were trinket belts. DM was THE champion. Not Roy. Ruiz had faked his way into 2 'wins'. Why was Roy not afraid to fight him? Tell me.

    You are doing it again.

You are carefully picking certain pieces of evidence that suit your agenda, and then are brushing the other evidence to one side.

In 1999, HBO publicly announced that they were frustrated with Roy's opposition, even labelling the Frazier fight as garbage.

    Okay?

    That's what happened.

But in 1996 and 2001, they also publicly claimed that they'd tried to make him other fights.

So you're going take into account what happened in 1999, yet you're going to ignore what happened in 1996 and 2001?

How are quotes from the VP of HBO, along with quotes from Frankie Liles's manager etc, not evidence??

You can't have it both ways.

Rico has just been quoting Dan Rafael as evidence.

But he doesn't like it when I also post up Dan Rafael's article, where is states that Roy tried to make a Hopkins rematch in 2002.

What if Roy fought Byrd after Ruiz for the WBO title?

Um no. Roy was NOT obligated in any manner to fight Ruiz. This was an optional defense. Why did Roy move up to Heavyweight and do the equivalent of of Mike Spinks fighting Trevor Berbick or Tim Witherspoon instead of Larry Holmes?
