I didn't ask what punchers were out there.

I asked what punchers were AVAILABLE for him to fight?

    :patsch

You don't understand the difference do you?

Also, how you can claim that other people have difficulties, after what you've wrote in this thread, just defies belief.

A 226 pound HW was feather fisted?

    Yep.

So I guess Butterbean is the all time greatest puncher with your logic? :rofl:patsch

Ruiz had no power. no skills. no nothing.

featherfisted heavyweights exist, Malik Scott and Zuri Lawrence for example... Ruiz wasn't a very hard puncher himself, certainly not a "ferocious puncher" and definitely featherfisted compared to his peers.

chavez jr, groves, degale, cleverly, cloud, bellew, and green have no business even being on the list as possible challenges.

Jones was not as skilled as Hagler

Don't talk to me about logic.

A 226 pound HW, isn't feather fisted to a 34 year old LHW.

Roy had never fought anyone above 180 plus pounds.

If Ruiz was as bad as you say, he'd have been NOWHERE near world level.

    Try again.

    Of course.

But he wasn't feather fisted to Roy.

I bet he hit harder than Tarver and Johnson.

He no doubt had the power to have knocked out Roy, if he'd have caught him right.

I don't know about Tarver, his power has carried over to HW fairly well... I'd say he might have more pop than Ruiz did.

    That's right.

But I'm looking at his power at LHW, compared to Ruiz's power at HW.

When was the last time Ruiz knocked anyone spark out???? He was simply not a very powerful puncher, he didn't possess concussive power.. There were/are certainly harder punchers than him at LHW and CW.

Hagler had rock solid fundamentals and could box effectively out of a orthodox or southpaw stance. He could box and brawl. He was the complete package.

Jones was not sound fundamentally. Did not use the jab and fought with his hands held low. He was also way to left hand dominant

Jones never fought anyone anywhere near the level of Hagler. He would of lost if he had fought a prime McCallum as well
