Possibly my favorite fight, all 3 were great. The first one is what really drove me to fall in love with boxing.
soo 1st fight - barrera robbed close but clear decision 2nd fight - morales robbed close but clear decision 3rd fight - barrera rightfully wins close but clear decision first fight i felt was very clear especially with the 12th round knockdown
Always wondered why they hated each other's guts. The intense hatred between the two made for a great rivalry. Morales seems the more classy of the two while Barrera comes off as an arrogant ass.
It had something to do with the Mexico City Tijuana rivalry ..Seems Barrera was the trouble maker but who cares it made for a classic trilogy ..Their first fight was boxing at its highest level ,the feinting the back and forth the combination punching you name it it had it all.
