Rakhim Ruslanovich Chakhkiev is a 6'0 31 Year old Cruiserweight with a 21-1 16 KO's 1 KO loss. Born in Tobolsk, Russia and living and fighting out of Hamburg, Germany. He's ethnically Ingushetian of the Vainakh People, they're of the same ethnic family as the Chechens and are mostly Sunni Muslims. He won silver at the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships and Gold at the 2008 China Olympics at Heavyweight. He was on an impressive run through CW until came up against Diablo Wlodarczyk, even though he dropped him early Wlod came back to stop him in 8. But instead of resting on his laurels he's had a great bounce year beating 5 opponents since last October. He fights in a very compact fashion he looks like a small tank and he's very fond of left and right hooks, the beard adds to his overall imposing presence. So check out Chakhkiev The Russian Cruiserweight Machine.:toney:toney:toney:toney

I was in his hypetrain after the olympics. But he disappointed me with the diablo fight. No ring IQ and clearly missing experience even AS a decorated Amateur. I took the usyk hype Train. He is the truth and will be IMO the cruiser champ and Wlads successor

Yep all the same, I still hope he can do some good things in the division, his style is just awesome but it seems as if he has regressed.

Yeah. For me it looks like he has regressed. He is putting everything he has in almost Every punch and he has power but not Wlad type power. So his stamina will always be Bad with this type of ring IQ and his Coach and Team dont look really professiona for me.

One loss doesn't ruin a career IMO. He's won 5 since then. BTW, I also believe that cruiserweight is unfortunately overlooked. It seems to have a decent number of skilled and experienced fighters in it.

If the opponent's still standing after 6, and can punch, he's in trouble.
Defense is part of boxing too.

I still think his demo job on Page (That is what turned most people on to him in the first place) might be his most impressive performance. Not best win, mind you.
