I don't think Floyd can knock out tough opponents anymore, at least not since his hands have really starting causing him problems. However, if he sits down on his punches enough, I'm sure he can daze, temporarily hurt them. I don't know if it'll be enough though on a guy like Pacquiao who's taken full-blown chin shots from Margarito, Cotto, and Marquez *shudders*

geez, people like dan rafael need to STFU and stop reporting that fight is made, or not. This has been constant, for weeks now. 'fight on...oh wait, fight not on' over and over and over. Plus, this probably gets on Floyd's bad side and given the way he operates, he will probably delay and delay or even call it off... Floyd can be volatile. He doesn't need this fight that bad as people think. Sure people will give him a hard time but 10 years from now he would be regarded as one of the best anyhow; if Manny beats him, not so much. He has more to lose here than anyone else plus he has made so much $$... media frenzy and intrusive behavior can actually get this fight broken.

Doesn't matter why he took the fight or what you thought. Nothing prior matters anymore. May the best man win and whoever it is, deserves credit. Neither victory deserves to be blamed on a fighter being shot or corrupt officials.

 

Anyone who isn't in love with Mayweather knows a knockout is extremely unlikely. I wouldn't take them too serious, they're just talking ****. This fight is going to the cards, no matter who wins. I think it might even be a split decision.

 

If he was as feather fisted as they make him out to be, he wouldn't have gained the respect of all of his opponents. The only person who didn't seem phased by his punches is Maidana. They may not feel heavy, but I bet they sting and get pretty annoying getting caught that often.

 

I just find it interesting Floyd has at last seemed to take this fight you never know thoe he could still run away

This is why, IF the fight ever happens I cannot see Paquaio ever getting a dec win over Floyd in Vegas. If Kenny Bayless is referee forget it he'll be on Manny's back all fight long.
The only way to hold this fight is to have NEUTRAL officials who are not corrupt. Just think for one minute......

Hes a great fighter, but wont ever been given the credit he deserves 10 years down the road if he ducks pac.
He needs this fight more than Pacquiao does. The public has told him that and he's backed into a wall worse than I have ever seen a fighter.
