It does seem sometimes like your opinion of an aficionado is to watch streams of fights in another language that feature midgets slapping each other; but, this type of discussion does nothing to revive boxing's popularity that has terribly slipped since the 90's.

A true aficionado would want to help the sport's popularity rather then acting like one of those little unpopular dorks that start to hate on something because it has become popular.
