I guess people are forgetting how Pac always struggles against counter punchers like Marquez who KO'ed him. Mayweather is a better counter puncher with more pop and speed. Mayweather will be doing something no one has done in a long time against Pac. Attacking that body, Pac's weakness.

Cotto and Bradley hammered his body, it's hardly a weakness. And Marquez is the only counter puncher who gave him trouble, he's a different fighter from Morales fight so wont go that far back.

Was looking at ESPN picks, Most of them seem genuine, but Campbell says pac by decision, when if you follow his chat, he's always favored floyd in this matchup, or at leas implied floyd wins handily.

I guess they have to 'first take' this thing as well, aka skip v's smith, to help promote and cover the fight for fans, and both sides.
Irks me when ESPN, pulls this Fox News type ****, just to appease both sides, and cover both fanbases.

 

Not even close, but moneywise of course. Frazier-Ali I, Duran-Leonard I, Holyfield-Tyson I, Hagler-Hearns, Sanchez-Gomez were better h2h fights. But cuz these 2 are the 2 most popular fighters from this era this fight is massively hyped. Great fight nevertheless.
