What in the world is happening to LHW division? It's getting weaker before our eyes and Stevenson is running out of easy defenses :-( :bart

As far as I understand Agnew's loss was kind of a full on robbery wich left the audience and commentators in awe.
But Savigne's one was a beauty. High quality chickendance included and all.

    ...and we're dancin'

The Agnew one does sound bad from this report.

'Light heavyweight contender Cedric Agnew, 177½, from Chicago, made his DBE debut against fellow southpaw Samuel Clarkson, 178, of Cedar Hill, TX. Whenever in close, Agnew would dig shots to the body. In round two, a double left hook, first to the body then to the head, put Clarkson on the floor. Clarkson fought back gamely, but Agnew's combinations clearly tired his adversary over the latter rounds. Though Agnew dominated the second half, the judges awarded Clarkson a very controversial split decision, each tallying 76-75, to the bewilderment of the crowd and ringside media. Agnew is now 28-2 (14 KOs), while Clarkson's record stands at 13-4 (7 KOs).'

Like others have said, I read the Agnew fight was controversial.

    The Savigne loss....not so controversial!!

Shame this one... I thought Agnew looked pretty good, though overmatched against Kovalev, **** like this can really damage a guys career.

The Savigne loss was an upset, but it ain't the first time he's been KOd when he prolly shouldn't. Guys 36 already... I don't see a bright future in boxing for him.
